Shifting I (Kuroko no basket x reader)

{New talent and Aomine?}

(Y/N)'s POV: 

(Okay so the wiki didn't have on how the game went sooo I'll be skipping everything, well not really but I'm really sorry!!) 

        "There are no gaps in their defense" "One! Take care!" "No!" Riko yelled "Matching a strong opponent is like giving them control of the game" she explains "Attack them in the first quarter?" I asked and she nod 

        "You have to..." I looked at the court and saw Kuroko disappearing right in front of the guy that was blocking him "...greet them by taking them by storm!" I see Izuki passing the ball to Kuroko and he smacks the ball up, making Kagami jump up and about to dunk 

       [That's an alley-oop...] Midorima jumps up and smack the ball out of Kagami's grasp. Takao catches it and dribbles the ball across the court, Izuki blocks him (I wrote Izuki twice, I mistaken Takao for Izuki-) but Takao passes it to No.5 from the back

        He makes a shoot but Hyuga manages to use his fingers and make him miss. I sighed out of relief. Seirin tries shooting again but ends up missing, Shutoku's No.4 takes the ball and shouts "Run-and-gun!" and throws the ball across the court

        Takao catches it again and dribbles the ball, Hyuga tries to block him but it doesn't work, then he passes it to Midorima from the back. He jumps up and my eyes widen [He's further from the actual three-pointer line. Can he really shoot it from there?!] he tosses the ball and it has that high arc 

         Midorima then walks away, I see Kuroko running to the hoop, passing by Kagami and saw him whisper something to him. Once the ball goes in the hoop, Kuroko grabs the ball and steps out of the court [What is he doing?] 

       Kuroko spins very fast with the ball in one hand and releases the ball to fly across the whole court. I can tell that the pass is very fast and powerful, and flies in a straight line from the start to the end of the course

        It flew by Midorima and saw his hair fly [Imagine being hit by that! I'd be out in a second!] Kagami catches it and dunks the ball in "Woah...the hell was that? They got them back in a second!" Keito chuckles "That's called a 'Cyclone Pass'. Impressive, huh?" "Yeah, I thought he could pass the ball around only, looks like I doubted him"

         Midorima has the ball again, Kagami blocks him and I had thought he was gonna do another three-pointer but he ends up passing it "Huh? Why didn't Midorima do his three-pointer?" I ask Keito "Cause Kuroko is there" I look at Kuroko "So he's basically...that means Midorima has been shut down, huh?" "Yup, smart girl"

       "With them knowing his Cyclone Pass, he's trying not to shoot it cause if he does, Midorima would walk away. He always does it after he does a three-pointer but if he misses, his teammates can rebound it"

      "That hang time he has is a pain in the ass, if Midorima can go back, Kagami can also run back. They can counter Midorima with a super fast break by running past him. That's why he can't shoot. But the timing and decision to show us that pass, the confidence to get that one shot, it's reaffirming" I nod [He must really understand the show to explain it to me like that...]

        Takao ends up having the ball and he dribbles pass Izuki, Mitobe blocks him but he passes it No.4 and he scores "Damn, they got right back at us..." Hyuga passes the ball to Kuroko and he passes it to Mitobe and he scores as well 

       I stood up and stand next to Riko, Keito next to me "Takao is marking Kuroko now..." Keito whispers and I raise an eyebrow, looking at him "What's wrong with that? It doesn't matter who marks him, Kuroko's invisible" he sighs and shakes his head "Just watch and see"
