3 weeks later

(Eddie's POV)

I'm currently sitting in the Asphalt Cafe during my free period, listening to music through my headphones and doing some homework.
There's only a few weeks left of school, before we come to the end of our junior year.

I'm clearly too engrossed in my music and school work, because the next thing I know my vision has gone black, as I feel hands wrap around my eyes, and kisses planted over and over on my cheek. I didn't even notice her walking over to me.

I chuckle, as I greet the beautiful half latina who has snuck up behind me.
"Hey babe, is it lunch already?" I ask as she takes her hands away from my eyes and sits down next to me.

"Hey you, we still got ten minutes before lunch, but Miss Asher let us leave Math early"

"Ooh lucky you" I mock jokingly, to which she smiles.

"How's your day been so far?" I ask her.

"It's been pretty good. Classes are quite a bit busier now since we've only got a few weeks left of the year" Tori says as she opens her salad and takes a bite from her fork.

"That's always the case" I say.

"It's a good thing I finished early really, I wanted to tell you something" she then says.

I turn off my music and take out my headphones, and close my laptop so that I can listen properly to what she has to say.

"So, you know me and my family are going to Barcelona for Summer Vacation with my cousin Amy and Aunt and Uncle Rebecca and Mason?" Tori asks.

Yeah so it turns out, Tori's Uncle Mason won the top prize at this massive raffle at his work, which was 6 tickets for a trip to Barcelona, hotel and flights included. They invited Tori's family to join them, but obviously there was an extra person who wouldn't have a ticket, so David bought an extra ticket for Trina.

"Yeah you're so lucky, Barcelona looks like an amazing place" I say to Tori.

"Well, my uncle called my dad this morning, and told him that the tickets were delivered to them, but there were two extra tickets! Amy's invited her boyfriend, and guess who they said that I could invite?"

"Uhh..."

"You obviously baby!"
My face instantly lights up hearing that. Admittedly, I was kinda down when Tori first told me about the trip away, since I wouldn't see her for two weeks, and I would have loved to gone on a trip abroad with her, especially after that disaster Yerba trip. And now is the best opportunity!

"That's amazing!! I'd love to come with you guys, thank you so much babe!" I say excitedly as I pull Tori in for a hug.

"You could think of it as an early birthday treat. Although I have already got you something else" Tori tells me.

"That's so sweet babe thank you" I say with a warm smile.

"How come your Uncle was sent two extra tickets?" I then ask.

"No one knows, they must have just made a mistake. My uncle called the company who sent the tickets, but they had no record of the two extra tickets, so he called his work who organised the raffle, but they had no idea either. So he's just kept them" Tori explains.

"That's amazing" I say.

"Yes it is, we can go visit all of the sites and attractions, and relax at the beaches and the hotel pools and go to waterparks" Tori lists, getting more and more excited the more she thinks about the vacation.
