After that dinner, it's clear to me that it's going to take a little more then just one double date to make them civil.

Before Tamir leaves for his meeting I set up two more double dates which doesn't go as bad, but it could have been way better if I'm being honest, at least David and I have formed some kind of friendship.

"I'll be back in just over a week." He remind me, today is the day Tamir finally leaves, at least this time he's telling me he's going.

"Can you call me, once you get there?" I lace our fingers together before pushing myself up on me tip toes. This time apparently he's going to South Africa, they never hold their meetings in the same place twice, that's what I'm told at least.

I press my lips onto his and take in the warmth as he kisses me back. I don't want him to go, truth is, I kinda wish he was taking me with him but, he isn't so I can't really sulk about it. "You have to get to work," he parts form me, "don't give me that look."

I drop my eyes before going to grab my purse. Kent's just outside, so I'm guessing he'll take me to work until Tamir comes back. Tamir makes his way to the door and opens it. "Come on." I step forward at his inviting words.

Right now, all I want to do is tell him how much I love him, but I know that will only delay his flight and I don't want to put him in a bad mood on his way there, then he doesn't call.

A week and a half, I tell myself, I can do that.

I get my call as requested and I'm overly joyed to hear from him, this is better then him ghosting me.

A day or two in his absence I go shopping, anything to take my mind off of him. I decide I want to surprise him when he comes back so I want to get a lingerie he has yet to see on me.

Of course, I'm accompanied by Kent and two others but at the doors of the lingerie shop I insist that Kent and the others don't need to come in with me. "I'll be quick, I promise. I won't even take ten minutes."

"Halcyon we have strict orders to assist you everywhere you go, and I mean everywhere." Kent repeats himself.

I don't want him following me in this shop. "I'll be five minutes then, super quick." He parts his lips for another argument but I cut him off. "Kent, I'm okay. You can watch me through the glass, I'll only be a little while."

He shakes his head clearly unsure. "Stay here," I walk in. "I won't be long." He shares a concern look with his friends but let's me walk in on my own anyways.

Options vary form red, black, multicoloured, yellow and so much more. One in particular catches my eyes cause I've yet to wear one in that colour and style, lilac. It's a leotard type of lingerie but covered with flowered lace.

I reach out for it- "Excuse me?" I turn at the voice dropping my hand. "That's a nice necklace." I drop my eyes to my neck, the gold gift Tamir got me at the start of our relationship, not the best start I'd admit.

"Thank you," I look back up at the girl. Her legs makes up for most of her hight as she's got tight curls and red hair.

"An indication of Kim's mafia." He words make my heart drop and my eyes dart to the door. Kent still has his back to me. "You must be his girlfriend, or someone very special to him."

"No," I shake my head. "You've mistaken me for someone else."

"No. Not many wear that symbol." She steps forward. "You're very pretty, explains why he would pick you."

"I have no idea what you're talking about," I need to get out of here. "I don't know anyone by the name of Kim. You must have the wrong girl," I try moving around to make Kent notice me.

"No." She moves opposite me and block me form advancing, my eyes drop to her hand. She's pulled out a gun, in a shop. "Let's do this quietly shall we."

"I don't think you have-"

"If you're not the right girl I'll just kill you. Now cooperate or I'll decorate this shop with your brains." I dart my eyes once more to Kent, desperate. Notice me! Notice me! He's still hasn't turned. Notice me! I nod looking back at the girl. "Good.

"Now turnaround and listen to everything I say." She motions for me to turn with the gun. I do as told. "Move." The tip of the gun is pressed on the low of my back and I step forward.

My hands start to sweat. I would have worn something with more coverage if I knew this necklace could get me kidnapped. "Keeping going." I'm instructed and move a little faster.

My eyes starts to sting and I try fight it back. I can't be crying right now, I remember how I cried all the way to Tamir's location when he first kidnapped me. Am I just going to do that again?

"Take this left." She pushes me and I take the left making sure to swing my bag to my front. I don't drop my head, instead I keep my head straight and slowly start to go into my purse. I'm digging for my phone.

I try making it as subtle as I can, sending a four letter message to the first number that comes in mind, the only number I know that could get to me if right now. Help. Sent out to Kent.

"Through this door." I reach out dropping my phone back into my bag and then push the door open. Three men in black are already standing there, almost like they were waiting for us. "Tie her up."

The first towering guy starts to move to me and I panic stumbling back. "I swear," I turn to the redhead girl, "I have no information that could help you. You want the necklace? If that's what you want you can take it! I'm of no use!"

"Cooperation is key here." She reminds me. "If you don't want to be killed that is." Her words scare me enough to make my water line tingle. I'm shove forward before they start tying me up.
