"Can I get you anything?" the waitress asked us.

"Oh, yeah!" Annie beamed as Ruby, Beth, and I laughed. "We're gonna take another round of these pineapple margaritas, please. Extra strong this time."

Yeah, we might be a bit buzzed. Ok, we're drunk. Don't judge us, we are finally free of that super-hot gang leader and we'll never have to see him again. Our lives are finally gonna go back to normal. The way things should be.

"We also want one of those fried onion things that has, like, the arms that stick out?" Annie continued slurring. "You know those?"

I raised my hand. "Oooh, what about jalapeno poppers? And maybe a few burgers? Oooh, maybe a hot dog," I said quickly. "Wait, a double bacon cheeseburger with jalapeno poppers, and...."

"Nachos!" Ruby sang while cupping her hands around her mouth.

I snapped my fingers and pointed at her with a grin. "Yes, the supreme nachos!" I held up my fingers. "Two of those -" I smirked at Beth. "She's a lightweight."

The waitress is clearly annoyed with us. "Are we celebrating today, ladies?" she asked.

"Oh, I would certainly say so!" Annie beamed.

"What's the special occasion?"

"Oh, we just smuggled a bunch of counterfeit money over the Canadian border and escaped a violent street gang."

"But you gotta admit... the guy's hot," I pointed out.

Beth grinned as she flared her arms out and sung, "And no drugs in our butts."

Annie high-fived her. "No drugs in our butts!" she shouted.

"Yay! No drugs in our butts."

"No drugs in our vaginas either!" I laughed.

Beth, Annie, and Ruby held their arms out in victory. "No drugs in our vaginas!"

The waitress clearly didn't believe us. "So, pretty special, huh?" she asked. "I'll put that right in."

I started laughing even harder once she left. "She hates us!"

"No, I think she loves us," Beth argued.

"I wouldn't be surprised if she told the cook to spit in our food as we speak."

"Not everyone is like you, Perrie," Ruby chuckled. She suddenly gasped. "Oh, my God. How much money do you think that was?"

"It was one bajillion dollars, actually," Annie answered while bobbing her head.

"I've never seen that much cash in my life!"

"I mean, fake money. But, yeah," Beth corrected.

"Well, I mean, it's real to somebody," Annie argued.

I gave all of them a pointed look. "But it's no longer our problem," I said before picking my glass up. "So, here's to going back to normal life."

Annie picked up her glass and clanked it with mine. "Yes. L'chaim to that."

Beth clanked her glass with us. "Yeah. To normal life."

"To normal life."

I noticed Beth looking a bit down in the dumps. "You ok?" I asked. "Do you need to shit?"

Beth shook her head while Ruby gave me a look and scolded me, "Do you have to say it like that?"

"I'm fine," Beth answered. She grabbed her purse. "I think I'm gonna call the kids, though."

Once Beth got up, Annie said, "Oh, yeah, that reminds me...We should probably get the check with the food. Just 'cause, like, you know. To be safe."

"Oh, we have time. You'll get home," Ruby reassured her.

"I know, it's just...I, like, really need this to go well. You know, like, it has to."

"It's gonna go great," I told her. "You're a great mom, so chill." I glanced at my phone. "I guess I won't be able to visit Finn today." I sighed before placing my hands on my head and closed my eyes.

"Hey," Ruby called out to me. I glanced up at her. "You're gonna get Finn out of prison and find that son of a bitch who framed him."

"Do you have any suspects at least?" Annie wondered.

I shook my head. "None. I've met all of Finn's friends and none of them even hinted about being murderous psychos."

"Well, what about Leslie's friends? As much as Finn loved her, she was kinda a slut." Ruby shot Annie a look. "Hey, you don't go on a date in booty shorts and a crop unless you want attention or to get laid. Or both."

"Huh?" I pondered at the thought. I never even thought about it.

Beth rushed over to the table. "You guys, they know about the car."

"Check, please!"
