It took a bit of convincing but we all agreed to steal a car from Dean's dealership. I mean, we should. It's his bitchass's fault that we're stuck like this in the first place. If he wasn't cheating on Beth and spending all his money on that slut from his work then we wouldn't have made the stupid idea to rob the store. Then we wouldn't be in further debt because with the gang leader. Yes, I'm still pissed off about it and will keep bringing it up.

"And that's it, you didn't do anything?" Annie asked as we waited in line at the border. They saw my necklace and began asking questions. All I said was that Steve bought it back for me and Annie started teasing me about him. "You didn't let him finally..." She proceeded by clicking her tongue and whistling. I turned and gave her an annoyed look. "Seriously? Not even a blow job...or a hand job?"

"Annie!" Beth, Ruby, and I shouted. No, I didn't do anything like that. Steve is just my boss. He's just my boss, there's nothing going on. He just bought back something that was very special to me. And I'm sure he would do that for any coworker.

Annie sighed in frustration before looking at Beth. "Don't hold the wheel like that," she said.

"How am I holding it?" Beth asked as she taps her fingers on the wheel.

"Like you already have the drugs up your butt."

I let out a tired breath before leaning my head against the seat. Beth was only a few cars away until we could cross the border. Hey, at least I can say I went to Canada.

"Do they pull you over on the way in?" Beth wondered.

I shrugged. "I don't see why not," I replied. "But it's not like we have the drugs on us, right now."

"I brought Stan's gun," Ruby announced. My eyes widened as I looked at her from my spot in the back.

"What?" Annie asked.

"What?" Beth added.

"I second that. What?" I repeated. Did I hear her right? Ruby brought Stan's gun?

"Relax. It's in my purse and it's not loaded," Ruby reassured us.

"Why would you do that?" Annie asked.

"I thought it was smart to bring protection. We're committing a crime in a foreign country."

I poked my head out between the seats. "And how is an unloaded gun going to protect you?" I wondered. "Were you planning on chucking it on someone's head."

"Even then, we're in Canada," Annie added. "We're not meeting El Chapo in Guatemala here."

"El Chapo is actually in Mexico," Beth corrected her.

Annie scoffed. "Whatever."

Beth moved her car up a bit. I'm getting scared. I'm actually terrified about doing this. We're about to cross the border to smuggling something back in. And we don't even know what the thing is! We could be smuggling guns or drugs. We could be sneaking some dangerous person in.

"What are we doing, you guys?" Beth unmasked my thoughts. "This is so crazy."

"Yeah, we know," I responded. "It's not like we have other choices. And getting caught is definitely out of the question unless you want us to end up in jail. Or even worst, he finds us in prison and kills us."

"Yeah, but let's say we get this done," Annie began. "What happens when he shows up again?"

"In front of our kids," Ruby added.

"Then I'll use my body as a shield while you guys get away," I answered.

"And then what? One of us calls baby Finn in jail and explain how his sister got killed."
