Ruby took her gun out and pointed it at Big Mike. "So, Mike, my friends -" Then there was a loud bang. Beth, Annie, and I screamed when the gun went off. Mike started screaming as the bullet got lodged in his foot. We all got out and made our way over. Ruby shot him in the foot. Ruby shot him in the foot!

"Oh, my god!" Mike screamed.

"You shot him," Beth breathed.

"I didn't mean to," Ruby said.

"I thought you said it wasn't loaded!" Annie rushed out.

"There must have been one in the chamber!"

My mouth was still open while I pointed at Mike. "You shot him in the fucking foot!"

"You shot me in the foot!" Mike screamed. So much for scaring him. Oh, my god. I can't believe Ruby shot someone in the foot. I can't even believe me saying Ruby shot someone in the foot is a thing now.

"Oh, Big Mike!" Annie panicked.

"What can I do?" Ruby asked. Her eyes all wide as she tried to get closer.

Big Mike held his hand out. "Stay away from me. Just stay away from me!" Ruby backed up. "Take what you came for and get out of here. The box is in back that way."

Beth grabbed us. "Ok, come on."

My mouth was still open. "Ruby shot a man," I breathed. I can't believe I'm still saying that.

Beth ran over and grabbed me. "Perrie, lets go."

And freeze.

Yeah, that's me. The one that's still freaking out while one of her closest friends is pulling her away. Some may wonder, what the hell is going on? Why did that woman shoot the man? Well, I can't you anything without giving you the whole story.

It was suppose to be a simple robbery. Don't give me your judgy little eyes. I know it's wrong to steal and I could go to jail, but would it help if I say it's for a good cause? No? Ok, I thought so.

But, wait? What does a robbery have to do with my friend shooting someone on accident? That I can tell you. It was suppose to be a simple robbery at my other friend's store. But everything pretty much went to hell after that. Blackmail. Gang members. One hot leader who I might actually like. It's just a twisted fairytale with no happy ending.
