"A month? I really have to stay here a month" Regina questioned, portraying herself as half shocked, half confused.
"Yeah, I'm afraid so. The recovery may be quicker but it's unlikely" Emma replied with a soft sigh, reaching to hold the brunettes hand soothingly.
"Right, then, umm... Get the police here and have them take my statement before the second surgery" Regina took control, using her strength to sit her up.
"They said they'd happily wait until you are healthy enough to go home" Emma cut in, knowing their is panic in the brunettes voice.
"No, no, that's too long away. For all our sake, it's easier to get it done as quick as we can; have them come in and do it today. Also, go and get Laura, I have some questions about what is going to happen" Regina continued, only able to stay calm due to medication.
"I'll go sort all that out in a minute but you look nervous, are you ok" Emma softly asked, standing from the chair to sit beside the woman.
"I'm fine" Regina simply replied, cupping the blondes cheek to bring her close.
"No, baby, you're not" Emma quickly said, moving back a little to avoid the kiss. "Do you want to talk"
"I don't, you know I never do" Regina sighed, trying to pull the blonde back into another kiss.
"Gina, I-" Emma started to say, moving back once again.
"Stop dodging my kisses!" Regina snapped, finally starting to get angry.
"Whoa, that didn't last long" Emma sighed, hoping the medication kept her calm for longer. "Why are you trying to kiss me instead of talking about what's wrong"
"Because I don't like talking, I like kissing you now shut up and kiss me" Regina huffed, trying to pull the blonde back to her.
"Gina, what is going on with you" Emma asked with a huff, knowing she's never said no to a kiss from the brunette.
"I can't go a month with this anger towards you, Swan! If I don't kiss you, I'll end up punching you're stupid face" Regina snapped her response, looking away from the blonde in annoyance. Emma raised an eyebrow at the other woman, taken back by such a snap. "I love you, you know that, but I can not hold this in for another month"
"I know, we need to do this soon before it goes on too long" Emma softly sighed, hating the brunette was right.
"I don't want to fight, not until after the surgery; at least then I won't be able to hit you" Regina said with a slight huff, letting herself fall back against the bed.
"You'll be too weak, let's aim to wait until you are better" Emma insisted, wanting to hold off the argument as long as she could.
"Then you are going to have to lock the door, close the blinds and get on top of me. No one has ever said no to that so answer wisely" Regina said with a slight smirk, slowly sliding her hand onto the blondes.
Emma just rolled her eyes with a chuckle, knowing she should have seen that coming. Regina raised an eyebrow, questioning if the woman was to get up. Emma stood to her feet and done as she was told, closing the blinds and locking the door. As she turned around, she knocked her bad shoulder on the door.
"Oh shit" Emma winced, stumbling away and straight into the side of the bed.
"Whoa, careful, you might hurt our baby. Is your arm ok" Regina quickly asked, knowing her shoulder is still sore.
"Yeah, it's- did you just... You said our baby" Emma questioned, looking up at the brunette in shock.
"Well, yeah, you knew I'd end up saying yes to raising the baby with you" Regina softly replied, giggling a little with a smile.
"So, me and you are going to raise a baby together"
"I hope so"
Emma smiled happily, knowing she never guessed Regina would say yes. She walked over to the brunette and climbed onto the bed, encouraging both to smirk widely. Emma tried to figure out how to hold herself above Regina with her arm in a sling and the bullet wound in the other woman.
"How is this going to work" Emma asked with a sigh, examining the situation to find away.
"Alright, I'm going on top" Regina replied, trying to lift her own body up.
"Shock" Emma sarcastically said, showing she wasn't complaining.
"Shut up" Regina laughed as she rolled her eyes, using all her strength. "Here, help me on top"
Emma slid her good arm under the woman, using it to help lift her. Neither of them were able to figure it out, struggling too much. Both just sighed in annoyance, dropping down beside each other.
"This isn't working" Emma huffed, resting her head just beside the brunettes.
"Then we can do the next best thing" Regina replied, giving a smirk as she leaned towards the woman's lips.
As their lips connected, neither wasted time to deepen it. Each woman clung to the others body, refusing to let go. They both that when this month ended, the fight would be well overdue. Emma knew she couldn't handle the fight just yet, she was weaker than she'd let off. As they shared their passion, the door handle began jiggling and turning.
"Ugh, come on, not in the hospital. I left my phone in there, open up" Rita huffed, knocking on the door to get their attention.
"Do a moan" Regina whispered, encouraging the blonde to be quick.
"Mmm, Regina, right there" Emma moaned, edging her face back towards the brunettes.
Regina bit her lip at the moan, a little turned on by it. She reconnected their lips with a smirk, not wasting a second to slip her tongue into Emma's mouth. Rita turned her nose up at the sound of the moan, huffing as she walked away. She saw as Marco came walking towards the door, quickly grabbing his shoulder to stop him.
"You don't want to go in there" Rita quickly said, turning him back towards the exit.
"What about your phone" Marco asked, knowing never to ask what his mums were doing.
"We can walk the dog without, let's go"
