"miss. Iyong kasama ko po, kamusta na?" I asked while panicking.
Biglang kumunot ang noo nito.
"kasama? Wala. Wala kang kasama." She answered.
My forehead creased upon hearing what she said.
"no. we were in a car and then their was something on the road and that's when we bumped to the tree." I hurriedly explained.
"p-po? You were rushed into the hospital because you fell on the stairs. "she answered.
What?
What the hell is happening? Where is Jeff? Am I hallucinating? Is this real? Ako? Nahulog sa hagdan? When did that ever happen? Hindi iyon totoo.
We were in a car accident.
I was about to get up nang pinigilan ako ng babaeng kasama ko ngayon.
"im finding Jeff" I said before she can even scold me.
Kumunot ulit ang noo nito sa sinabi ko.
"wala nga po kayong kasama" she said.
I was about to yell at her when a woman in her mid-50's entered the room.
"she was wearing a lab gown. So I assume she's a doctor.
We became silent as well as this other girl with me.
"Chesna, why are you here? Nangengealam ka na naman sa mga pasyente?" tanong nung babaeng hula ko ay doctor dun sa babaeng kasama ko kanina pa.
So Chesna ang pangalan niya?
Napakunot noo ako.
"so she's not a nurse?" I asked and the women in the lab gown shook her head.
"no she's a student" she answered before making that Chesna girl leave the room which left me and the doctor alone together.
If hindi nurse ang babaeng nagngangalang Chesna na iyon, then why is she wearing a nurse outfit?
This is confusing.
"doc, my mom and dad? Aren't they here yet?" I turned my attention to this doctor with me and asked her what I've been itching to ask.
She shook her head.
"your parents are not here." She answered that made me sad.
Even on a situation like this, they cant be here for me.
"how about Jeff? Iyong kasama ko sa car accident?" I asked again hoping to dinally hear the answer that ive been waiting for.
But unluckily.
"may nakakita sayong walang malay and you were behind the stairs so we assumed you fell. Pero ikaw lang mag-isa dun. No one else. No Jeff" she explained.
Still no answers.
What does she mean?
"how come? The las thing I remembered was that we bumped on a tree" I said hopelessly while gazing outside the window near me.
I saw several people mostly teenagers wearing the same uniform.
I distinctly looked at myself.
I trembled.
I am wearing the same uniform that people I saw were wearing.
How did this happen?
I don't recognize this uniform.
I horridly looked at the doctor.
"whe-where am i?" I asked trembling.
