"are you sure your okay?" Chesna asked me.

I nodded.

"yeah" I simply answered without even looking at her.

Im just acting that im listening to the teacher in front and that im interested in the lesson. But the truth is, it enters on my ear, then also gets out of the other ear. Nakikinig ako pero wala naman akong naiintindihan.

What happened to me this pass few days are just so exhausting. I wanna take a breath. Relax and even for 1 day, not think about all my problems. Ang daming problema pero wala akong maibigay na solusyon.

Im useless.

I sighed upon hearing my thoughts.

"gusto mo subukan natin mamayang maghanap ng leads para malaman mo kung paano ka napunta dito?" Chesna said.

Maybe she's just trying to make me feel better and aviated. But sadly, no help.

"no Chesna. I lost determination. Baka dito na talaga ako nababagay" I answered and wore a fake smile to her.

"well, pwede naman nating hanapin ang tatay mo" Chesna said and it sounded like a good idea. But for what?

Para ano pa? im kinda just fine not knowing who I really am. Tuttunan ko nalang na makontento. And accept what is happening to me right now.

Aside from the fact that's been bugging me for a couple of days already. Possible kayang may father is from here?

Perhaps, does he also have an ability? I just can't stop making connection kung bakit ako napunta dito. Maybe in the first place, I really do belong here. And I just realized it by now. Kasi nalaman kong hindi si dad ang totoo kong ama.

"maybe, maybe he's from here before?" I hesitantly said to Chesna and her eyes instantly grew big.

"there must be a connection why you're here. Maybe that's it." Chesna agreed. My forehead creased.

"but if ever totoo iyan, why don't I have magic or ability like you have. And other people here have" I said.

A silence surrounded the both of us.

"maybe, hindi palang lumalabas?" Chesna answered and I just nodded.

"baka nga" I said.

I really didn't believe her. Doesn't mean my dad has it, which im not also really sure he has cause its just my deduction, doesn't mean I also need to have one.

I just wanna end the topic to I agreed to her. But I really didn't. simply because it didn't make any sense.

The class continued when suddenly, all the lights fade.

It was black out.

Wala akong makita.

"Chesna" I called her but even before I can hear her response, a loud noise filled the whole place.

I heard people shouting and panicking.

Wala akong makita kaya napaupo nalang ako sa sahig covering my ears in fear.

"Chesna!" I shouted but maybe because of the loud noises and banging's I coudnt really hear anything properly. Ang lakas din naman talaga ng mga sabog oh di ko alam kung ano.

What the hell is happening?

Kahit pa marinig ko siya ay baka hindi ko din siya maintindihan.

The lights suddenly came back and I was shocked to see what happened.

Gibagiba na ang ibang mga gamit dito sa room at ang mga pader pa nga ay nagkabutas butas na. but what shocked me the most,

Their were people laying on the floor.

Some with bloods. Their not moving. Pa- patay naba sila?

"Daphne" Chesna said while helping me get up. My eyes were still glued to all the students who lifelessly laid on the cold floor.

"lets go" Chesna said and I shook my head.

I couldn't believe what im seeing.

"pa-paano sila? We should help them" I shuttered.

"no Daphne delikado na." Chesna insisted.

"di-diba, you can heal? that's your ability. Heal them" I said while holding my tears because of everything.

"I cant. Wala na sila. I cant bring dead people back to life" Chesna said and I brushed my hair roughly.

"ano bang nangyayari?" I asked.

It was a normal day here in school. May klase. Nakikinig ang iba, nagtatawanan. But all of a sudden, a disaster happened.

"inatake tayo ng kalaban" she said which made me frown
