Binuksan ni Jeff ang pinto ng sasakyan niya para sa akin and I nodded thanking him before finally going inside his car.
He turned around and also entered the car.
The smell of alcohol immediately consumed the whole car and lingered on my nose as soon as he went inside.
" uhm, Jeff. Can you drive?" I politely asked not to offend him but he just laughed.
"im not drunk. I just had a few shots pero kaya kitang iuwi ng maayos" he answered as if it was easy peas to do for him.
Maybe I was just overreacting.
"well, may drives license ka din ba?" tanong ko kahit medyo nahihiya. My safeness will be up to him. And trust me, a lot of things can happen in this minute of driving. I need to be careful. Not just me. But Jeff as well. Siya ang Magda drive eh.
"natatakot ka bang ibabangga ko tong kotse ko?" he said.
"don't worry I have" he then said again while showing me his driver's license.
I nodded that kinda meant a cue for him to start starting the engine and drove the car.
While on the way, napapatingin kao sa mga dinadaanan namin.
Its pitch black. And wala masyadong tao. Nasa isang private subdivision din kasi ang bahay nila ni Ava which I ofcourse always wondered eveytime ill pay a visit at their place.

"wait, how come you know where I live?" I wondered upon asking Jeff.

Minutes had passed and I was jus staying still. Everything was awkward. I don't even know how to start a conversation with him. Heck were not close.
Patuloy lang sa pagdadrive si Jeff while asking me small questions sometimes. I just answered and then everything as quiet again.
