Ellie:
I was hiding from the Doctor. I could not deal with the incessant pushing to regain my memories.
Not even my memories, however, they would be someone else's. Someone dead, or at least who wanted to be. So, I decided to sedate him and borrow the TARDIS to go and research the goings on of the humans races greatest decline in true news and media.
Satellite Five was full of journalists and broadcasters as I came out of the TARDIS, hidden outside a cupboard, but I blended in with them easily as I walked into the atrium zone of Floor 139. The food, if you could call it that, was disgusting, and I only seemed to be getting the same thoughts from everyone. Mindless sheep.
"What do you think?" A man asked as I realised I had paused beside him to look at them all. "Are they all boring and brain dead or what?"
"Quite." I agreed. "Something here is not what it seems."
He looked me up and down, dressed the same as me, give or take sleeves. Leather jacket, black jeans and an olive green top, his with sleeves, mine a tank. "What're you dressed like that for?"
"It is comfortable and practical. I require pockets." I replied, before offering him a hand. "Ellody Croft, Ellie."
"I'm the Doctor. Nice to meet you, Ellie." I stared, hand not letting go of his. Please tell me I did not leave one Doctor to go to the only one I had no data on. "You okay? You're a little scary when you do that, you know."
Pulling back, I covered my surprise and moved on. Easily able to adapt, when you took into consideration the fact I had little to no emotions. "Apologies, I just thought of someone else. What else is happening here, Doctor? They are all mindless sheep, they have not the will to question anything, or find alternative news sources."
"Not a clue, just got here. Same as you, going by that Vortex Manipulator on your wrist." Well, it was one that I made, but I did base it off of River's, only I could control it better. "Here's an idea, lets go ask someone." And just went to two ladies by a plant selection. I killed a cactus. Plants were not my forte. "Um, this is gonna sound daft, but... Can you tell me and my friend where we are?"
Before I could say that I was aware where I was, the very frustrated and wasted one, got amused. "Floor 139, could they write it any bigger?"
The Doctor, far younger because I saw how fresh deaths were in his eyes, did not let them just laugh. "Floor 139 of what?"
"That must've been a hell of a party."
Her friend, a deep cover agent here for a similar reason to us, told him. "Satellite Five."
"And what's Satellite Five?"
"Oh, come on, how could you get on board without knowing where you are?"
Something told me that he set the controls to random. He enjoyed doing that. "Look at me, I'm stupid!" You said it, Doctor.
The sleeper agent thought we were something else. "Hold on, wait a minute, are you a test? One of the those management test sort-of-things?"
"You've got us!" He showed the still new psychic paper as I found a mostly appropriate fake. I was rather good at creating things that had purpose. "Good guess, well done, you're too clever for us."
I tried hard not to roll my dyed irises as she looked to her colleague. "They warned us about this in basic training. All workers have to be versed in company promotion."
So she just went with it. Sheeple. "Alright then, ask your questions. Fire away. If it gets me to Floor 500, I'll do anything."
"What happens on Floor 500?"
