-Three-

I almost didn't believe it. Donghae was at my bedside. This wasn't real, it couldn't be. Millions of thoughts flooded my mind: How did he get here? Why did he come back?

He broke my thoughts when he finally spoke, "So, do you want to go back to Korea with me?"

I was still too sleepy to form a response that would be anything close to coherent, and Donghae noticed I was still too tired to think straight, so he attempted to get me out of bed by carrying me over his shoulder.

I didn't think it was too good of an idea, so I tried to protest, but he refused to put me down until we got into the livingroom. He sat me upright on the sofa and tried to explain everything now that I've woken up a bit.

"Honestly," he began, "I didn't want to stay there that long, but you knew I had to take care of my father, which is what I did. I thought I was doing everything right, but one day at the hospital, he flat-lined, and I didn't know what to do. I didn't want to lose him-"

I noticed a tear-track rolling down his right cheek and wiped it away. "What happened?" I asked.

"I ran to get a nurse but when she came back, he..was gone."

Donghae broke down into full on sobs, and the sound of him breaking down like that hurt my heart.

"I'm so sorry, Donghae."

"So the rest of time I was there, I had to help my mom out with everything."

I nodded. "I don't blame you for staying."

He broke into a small smile, "But see, the thing is, I missed you a lot, and I wanted to see you-"

I smiled. "I missed you too, Donghae. More than you'll know."

"I have to go back." He replied bluntly.

My heart plummeted, and it was all I could do to prevent myself from crying as well. My head faced my lap as I tried to hold the tears back.

"That's why I want you to come back with me. Please."

I looked up and saw his hurt expression. It killed me inside. I knew I had to go, for both of our well-beings.

"I will," I managed to get out. "But what about my parents?"

"They already know. You don't think I just broke in, did you?"

I chuckled. I missed Donghae's humor, but now we'd at least be in the same country, instead of thousands of miles away.

Maybe fate really was on my side..

I spent the rest of that night packing all my cute clothes, make-up, and electronics I was going to bring to Korea. I fit everything in two big suitcases, and was ready to board the next flight to Seoul at dawn.

At 7:00 A.M., we got a taxi to drive us to the airport, where we boarded a packed flight. I was exhausted from barely getting any sleep the night before, and Donghae looked even more tired than I, so I let him have the window seat.

No later than five minutes after takeoff did he fall asleep, which didn't surprise me in the least. He was tired, and he needed rest, especially after these past stressful months he's had.

Except with him being asleep, I had no one to talk to, and the flight easily got boring. I put in my headphones and listened to some of the newer songs I downloaded, trying to keep myself awake a bit longer. But after a few peppy songs, a ballad started to play and I felt sleep just around the corner. To be honest, I was too tired to refuse it, so I just gave in, letting sleep overcome me.
