My mouth flew open in shock. He sounded beautiful, like an angel. I knew this was the perfect way to get to talk to some of the Super Junior members again, even if they didn't want to see me.

I stood off the barstool and turned around to see him sitting in a booth alone. Carefully I made my way over to him.

"Hello."

"Hi," he replied. He kind of looked shy, maybe even embarrassed of his singing.

"I just wanted to say, I heard your singing, and I think it's incredible."

His head flew up, and he looked to me with hopeful eyes.

"You really think so?"

"Yeah! Are you signed up with anybody?"

"No. I wanted to audition, but my father doesn't fully approve of me pursuing a singing career."

"Well," I replied as I sat down across from him, "I know the CEO of S.M. Entertainment, and I think he'd accept you in an instant."

"You'd really do that for me?"

"Yeah! Why wouldn't I?"

He stayed silent.

"So, what's your name?" I asked to keep the conversation going.

"Cho Kyuhyun."

Since it was well past 11 o'clock and S.M was already closed, Kyuhyun and I walked out of the cafe and around the town for a little bit. After 45 minutes or so, he turns to me and asks about my luggage- the bags of mine from the Super Junior dorms.

"I came from America with a friend, but he didn't want me to stay anymore, so I left."

"Do you have a place to stay?"

"No," I admitted.

"Well come back to my apartment with me, you can stay there for the night if you want."

"Thank you."

~

We walked in his apartment, (which is huge by the way) and I marveled at how nice and well-kept it seemed.

"Take my bed," Kyuhyun offered. "I'll sleep on the couch."

"You don't have to. This is your place, you know."

"Yeah, but you're the guest."

I smiled at how nice he was being.

~

I woke up the next morning to the smell of eggs from the kitchen. Mmm. Breakfast.

Sure enough, when I got to the kitchen, there was Kyuhyun making eggs and bacon in frying pans.

"I'm not that good of a cook, but I'll try to get better," he admitted.

"It's okay." It was the thought that counted, after all.

After breakfast, (which in fact wasn't as terrible as Kyuhyun made it out to be) we went into his room to pick out what he was going to wear for his audition.

"Rebekah! What about this?"

"That's too formal. If you go in a suit, they're going to think you're trying too hard."

"But this is something I really want! Of course I'm going to try hard to pass."

I nodded at his reasoning, but said no to the outfit.

~

At noon, we both stood outside the S.M. building taking deep breaths. Kyuhyun better wow Soo Man, or I don't have a chance to ever see Hyukjae again.

We walked in and up to the front counter. Immediately the secretary remembered me from all the weeks I spent in this very same building with Super Junior.

"Hi Rebekah!" she waved, "Who's your friend?"

Kyuhyun bowed. "My name is Cho Kyuhyun."

"Well it's nice to meet you!"

"Can I talk to Soo Man?" I asked her.

"He's in his office," she replied. "I'd show you where that is, but I'm sure you already know."

"I do," I confirmed. "Thank you."

Kyuhyun and I turned around and walked to Soo Man's office.

Hesitantly, I knocked on the big wooden door of his office.

He opened the door and smiled when he saw me. "Come in, come in."

We sat down in the two leather chairs in front of his desk.

"You know," Soo Man began, "Hyukjae told me it would be after one night that you would return here."

I laughed. "Did he really want to see me that badly?"

"From what Donghae says, yes."

"Oh, so they've made up?"

"Seems so, Donghae started chasing after Kibum ever since you left. And Hyukjae's still trying to find you. They don't have a reason to fight anymore since Donghae moved on."

I blushed. Kyuhyun looked over at me with questionable eyes. He kept his head facing the floor, like he did back at the cafe. Was he jealous?

"Well, I didn't come here particularly for him," I told Soo Man. "Actually I think you'd be quite interested in this man right here." I pointed to Kyuhyun.

"And why's that?"

"Listen to his singing and you'll immediately want him as a trainee for whatever new group you're brewing up."

"Okay. What's your name?" Soo Man asked Kyuhyun.

"Cho Kyuhyun."

"Okay. Well you may start singing whenever you're ready."

Sometimes I just hold you, too caught up in me to see. I'm holding a fortune that heaven has given to me. I'll try to show you each and every way I can. Now and forever I will be your man.

I stopped looking at Kyuhyun to see Soo Man's reaction. He was speechless.

Now I can rest my worries and always be sure, that I won't be alone anymore. If I'd only known you were there all the time. All this time~

~

It was safe to say Kyuhyun was part of S.M. Entertainment, if Soo Man's expressions weren't a clear enough indicator.

"So," I asked, "What new group are you putting him in?"

Soo Man thought about it. "Actually the only group I have right now with trainees is Girl's Generation."

"But they're a girl group," I pointed out.

"Exactly, so I'm going to have to put him in-"

I wasn't expecting his next words. At all.

"-Super Junior."

Kyuhyun jumped for joy, but all I wanted to do was hide.
