Here I am at my college graduation. I'm graduating with a doctorates degree in art. I kept in contact with Tez and Tito but I refused to talk to Oscar. He called for two years straight but I never answered. Tez told me all about his dad. Apparently after I left Freeridge for Caltech Oscar fell into an extreme depression. I only answered one call from Oscar and my only words to him were 'I don't want to hear you, I don't want to see you, as a matter of fact you don't even exist to me. Fuck off you stranger!" And hung up. He still called but I never answered. After he broke up with me I moved into Tito's and sent my acceptance letter to Caltech. As soon as I could leave for college I did and never turned back.

I cried for three months over Oscar and I don't want anything to do with that man ever again. He broke my heart and it took four years to get over it. Now here I am going back home after four long years away from Freeridge. I start my new job as an art teacher and I'm also trying to get my apprenticeship at a tattoo parlor soon. Tito is now 36 with a three year old. Her name is Grace apparently he named her after me because I had such an impact on his life. Cortez and Anna are still going strong, as a matter of fact he just recently asked her to marry him which I was happy about. He really loves that girl.

I on the other hand have no one. Last year when I was in the third year of college I got a call from the Brentwood friend my Abuelita had and she told me she had passed away in her sleep. I was devastated. Of course she had to pass in September so that really is a cursed month for me. Everyone came to the funeral except Oscar, it made me mad as hell but Tez told me he didn't want to make me more upset. So he stayed away until I went back to college. I honestly don't know what I would have done if I seen Oscar there or not. Yeah I was mad at him for what he did to me, I still am a little bit but I decided to let it go. I don't want to see him but that doesn't mean I'm still mad. If I was still mad then that means I still care and I don't.

I was now on my way home to Tito's house when I got a call from Tez. "Hey mofo!" I yelled into the phone making him laugh. "Hey Mione. How you doin?" He asked with a little squeak in his voice. "I'm good. Why do you sound like your hiding something from me?" I asked with a little giggle. That boy hadn't changed a bit. "Well, I was just thinking, why don't you stop by before going to Tito's and visit the Santos? You know we all miss you." He asked with a little uneasiness in his voice. "Yeah please?" I could hear a bunch of people beg on his end of the line. "Teeeeez is that everyone?" I asked with a little whine. "Yes. Everyone is here. They miss you." He spoke honestly. "Fine but only for a few minutes. I told Tito I would be home soon to help with Grace. That dead beat baby mama of his ran the fuck off." I spoke getting a little mad at Angel. "She said she'll come!" Tez yelled before hanging up making me laugh.

I slowly pulled into the Díaz driveway and my heart was pounding. I looked around trying to see if the Impala was anywhere in sight and it wasn't thank god. Getting out of the car I was ambushed by a bunch of old faces I haven't seen in four long years. "Hector!" I yelled jumping into his arms giving him a big hug. "Damn mamas you looking good." He smirked. "Eww what are you now, 46?" I asked laughing at his irritated face. "Santi!" I yelled before doing the same to him. He got fine as hell! "Hey mamas lookin like a fine ass hyna." He smirked smacking my ass. I laughed looking around for the one person I really came here to see. I spotted him with Anna sitting on his lap. He picked her up and set her on the couch and ran up to me. I jumped into his arms and hugged him for dear life. "I missed you Tezzy bear!" I laughed as he spun me around then setting me down.

I ran over to Anna and gave her a big ass hug. "Damn girl you lookin like a fine ass hyna too!" I laughed giving her a once over. She wiggled her eyebrows at me as she laughed. "Girl I missed you." She smiled at me. Anna and I became really good friends after I left for college. We face timed a lot when Tez was busy with school. "I have a secret to tell you." She whispered to me. I nodded and she dragged me to the back of the Díaz house. It still hasn't changed, that same acid barrel never moved. "Okay what is it?" I asked excitedly. "I'm pregnant." She whispered doing a little dance. "AY DIOS MÍO!" I screamed doing a little dance with her. "Girl or boy?" I asked quietly. "Boy. And I was hoping you could help me with telling Tez?" She asked shyly. "Of course. I would love to help." I smiled at her and she returned it.

After going through some ideas together we went back to the front yard. My heart stoped as I seen the red Impala parked behind my car blocking me from leaving. "Look Grace, there's Tía Mione." Tito spoke to a beautiful little three year old girl in his arms. He set her down and she came running at me. "TÍA!" She yelled opening her arms for me to pick her up making grabby hands at me. I swooped down picking her up and kissing all over her face as she giggled. "Hermione?" A voice asked from the front door of the Díaz house. And that's when my heart dropped to my asshole. I passed Grace to Tito and slowly turned around to see big brown eyes and a tear drop tattoo.
