| TONIGHT WAS THE big football game and everyone was exited for Stefan because he made the team and of course we where going to be there.

Mr.Tanner went up to the microphone and spoke. "Now let's be honest here. In the past, used to let other teams come into our town and roll right over us! But now that is about to change. We have some great new talent, starting tonight on the offensive line, and I'm going to tell you right now, it has been a long time since I have seen a kid like this....."

I kinda zoned out because that guy can talk just as much as caroline and I'm not saying that's a good thing.

I turned around and saw that tyler punched Jeremy in the face. I ran over there. "Tyler, stop it, your hurting Jeremy"I tried to grab him but then Stefan came and took tyler off of Jeremy for me.

Jeremy took a broken bottle off the ground and swung it at tyler. "Jeremy no!" Instead of hitting tyler he moved and then it hit Stefan's hand.

Matt rushed over. "Tyler! Knock it off!!
I went over to Jeremy. "What the hell Jeremy? He was bleeding because he pisses off Tyler who is twice as stronger as him. "Put your head up, your bleeding" Jeremy pushed me away. "I'm fine" I stepped up. "Yeah, you smell fine" He walked away from me upset smelling like beer.

Elena rushed to Stefan. "Oh my god your hand! Stefan pulled his hand behind him. "No, no it's fine, it's ok" He assured her.

I walked over to him and Elena closer. "Is it deep? How bad is it? I asked him. Elena tried to open his hand up but Stefan wouldn't open it. "Come on! He opened his hand. She let go and I saw that there was no scratch on his hand just a little blood.

"He missed, it's not my blood" he rubbed the blood on his shorts. "See? In fine" he told Elena. "No no no, I saw it.. It-the glass cut your hand..." he looked at her. "It's ok. I'm ok". He walked away from her.

I walked with Elena to see Bonnie. "Hey can I ask you a question and you give me a really serious no-joke response? Bonnie looked at Elena.

"Of course! What is it? Elena looked at me then back to Bonnie. "The bad mojo" Oh god not this stuff again. "When you touched Stefan and you had that reaction, what was it?" Can't wait to hear this.

"It wasn't clear like a picture. Like today, keep seeing those same Numbers I told you about....8, 14 and 22, When I touched Stefan, it was a feeling. And it vibrated through me and it was cold, and it--it was death. It's what I imagine death to be like"

That's weird

"So I'm going to just put my stuff in the car so I'll be right back" They nodded so I walked to the car. I really didn't need to put something away, I just wanted to get away from everyone. Elena is so mixed up in all of this stuff about Stefan's passed girlfriend and that Bonnie got a bad feeling about Stefan.

I decided to unlock the car and get my jacket. I grabbed my jacket from the passengers seat. I locked the car and turned around. I came face to face with Damon.

I gasped. "You scared me. What are you doing here? I looked at him. "I'm hiding from Caroline" He whispered.

I was really confused. Why would he come to me? "And why is that? I whispered back playing his game. "I needed a break, she talks more than I can listen"

Break? Really. You cannot escape Caroline "That could be a sign" I told him. "Well, she's awfully young" How old are you again? "Not much younger than you are"

I said back to him. He laughed. "I don't see it going anywhere in the bigger picture, I think she'd drive me crazy" he told me. she can be a little overdramatic sometimes but she still is my best friend.

"Caroline really does have some really annoying traits, but we've been friends since the first grade and that means something to me"

he looked at me. "Duly noted. I'm sorry if I make you uncomfortable, that's not my intention" Ugh why did I come to the car again? oh that's right to get away from everyone.

"Yes, it is , otherwise you wouldn't put an alternate meaning behind everything you say" He smiled.

"Your right, I do have other intentions but so do you" Ha really?

"Really?

He looked at me. "Mm-hm, I see 'em. You want me" maybe a little but not anymore. "Excuse me?

He was really acting weird now. "I get to you. You find yourself drawn to me you think about me even when you don't want to think about me" What is his deal? He looked me in the eyes with those dazzling eyes again. "And right now..you want to kiss me" No way.

I leaned in to kiss him but then my hand came up and slapped him in the face. "What the hell? I don't know what game you are trying to play but I am not apart of it"

"I am not getting into any of this"

He stood there obviously pissed off at me. I just turned around and walked back to Elena.

I couldn't find Elena so I walked around trying to find at least someone I knew. I walked down a sidewalk behind the school, just trying to find a way back into the football field.

While I was walking I found someone laying down. I walked toward it, realizing that it was a person and they where bleeding all over there neck.

"Somebody help! I screamed.

I found Bonnie with all the other people from the school behind the police tape so I went under and hugged her. "Bonnie I'm so glad to see you! I tried to find you guys but then just came this way"

Bonnie looked like she was about to cry when she pointed to the place where they found the body. I noticed that it said building 8, then the license plate number on the car right next where the body was said 14 and the lot where the was said 22.

"Oh my gosh" I told Bonnie. She stood there looking almost as schocked as I was.

  Bonnie drove me back home. "Are you ok? Really?" She asked me. "Bonnie really I'm ok and I really appreciate how much of a great friend you are to me and you helping me through this really means a lot"

She smiled at me and gave me a big hug right before I unlocked my door. "Goodnight Bonnie and thanks again" she waved and got back into her car and drove off. Just as I opened the door, something came running to me

Elena crashed into me. "Are you alright? I was so worried about you and what could have happened" Elena gave me a big, sisterly hug.

"Don't worry I'm fine! I'm just going to go to bed" I walked up the stairs and changed into my P.Js and started to write in my diary but quickly fell asleep.

I woke up by hearing something in my room. I looked around then I put my diary on the floor and turned off my lamp. |
