| I WOKE UP TO THE blinding sunlight that came through me window, I mean who in their right
would ever leave their curtains open? Good thing I wasn't the one who opened them...Elena.

I dragged my butt out of my bed not wanting to go to school. Well I didn't have to go to school today I mean it's not like we anything important.

But I don't really feel like getting yelled at today and a very long lecture about 'How school is so important' from Jenna. I went down the hall to Elena's room and it was empty.

School doesn't start for another 30 minutes so she probably went to spend some time with Stefan....

Might as well be to responsible sister and try to find her and take her to school. That does seem like a lot of work though

But if I'm going to the Salvatore house aka where Damon lives, then I have to look good.

After I finished doing my hair and putting on my clothes, I went downstairs. Jeremy isn't here either jeez! Why don't I ever get included in annual Gilbert ditch day.

Eh just wait till everyone will want me.

I grabbed the keys to my car and walked outside. What a beautiful day to not be in school! Until I actually have to go....

I rang the doorbell a few times and the door opened. The door revealed Damon in all black.. no surprise there.

"Is Elena here? He put his head out. "Yup" I still stood in my place. "Where is she" He smiled. "And good morning to you, little miss I'm on a mission" I scoffed.

"How can you be so arrogant and glib after everything you've done? I folded my arms.

"And how can you be so brave and stupid to call a vampire arrogant and glib" I laughed as I stepped closer to him. "If you wanted me dead, I'd be dead"

"Yes, you would" He told me while grinning
"But I'm not" I said returning the grin. "Yet" He said. "Look I just need to get my sister so I don't have time for your arrogant-ness"

I stepped into the house as he shut the door. Ignoring the fact that he was right behind me and I didn't know where Elena was I started to look for her.

"Elena? I walked into what looked like one of their dining rooms but had no luck.
"False alarm" I turned my head around to see Vicky. "My body's feeling really funky" Oh my gosh it's Vicky.

"Vicky? oh my gosh are you ok" I went up to her, happy that she seems to be ok-ish. She smiled at me. "Yeah I'm just feeling funky, it's a good funk but it's weird"

I smiled at her glad to know that the whole "Vampire" thing isn't too bad for her to handle. "Madi, I have so missed us hanging out" I took her arm and tried to lead her to the door to go outside. "Oh wait, you can't" My face turned into a frown. She looked at me smiling.

"Let's just find something to do here" Ok sure. I followed her upstairs to what looked like a guest bedroom. She turned on some music from the radio and then laid down on the bed. I also laid on the bed but just next to her.

"Well, this is fun" Just as she was about to respond, Damon walked in. "What are you doing" Not wanting to talk to him, I let Vicki talk. "Just contemplating the next hundred years" Damon walked over to the bed and sat on the edge.
