| I WOKE UP IN the morning feeling a little dazed from last night. I still couldn't believe that whatever attacked Vicki last night was right next to me too.

I woke up and headed into Elena's bedroom where I found her writing in her diary. "Someone looks happy"

I giggled "So did anything interesting happen last night? Elena laughed "Nothing like that, Stefan came over last night and we talked of hours"

I'm dying on cuteness right now."That's so adorable! I can't wait till Caroline finds out, she will be just as exited as I am" Elena just rolled her eyes.

I wish I was sick again because here I am sitting in my least favorite class. "Originally discovered nearly 5 centuries ago, It hasn't been over mystic falls in over 145 years......"

The only thing keeping me from keeping me from falling asleep is Elena and Stefan staring at each other all class period because what's more interesting than that.

"Are we bothering you, Mr. Salvatore? Mrs Gilbert? They looked embarrassed but the bell went off just before Tanner said something. Talk about saved by the bell.

Elena and I jumped out of our seats only to be accompanied by Stefan. I was about to walk with then

I walked into my next class only to find that the homework from the other night was due today and I didn't have it.

Once I got home I quickly realized that Elena wasn't home. I thought since she and Stefan have been spending so much time together that she was at his house.

Well I found myself on the front porch of the Salvatore house. Holy crap this house is huge.
I knocked on the door only to find it unlocked and open partially. Couldn't hurt to see if Elena or Stefan is at least inside.

"Stefan? Elena? I called out before stepping off the the door mat.

I walked inside admiring the structure of the hallway, but before I took another step the door shut.

I turned around finding no one at the door so I turned back around but instead of facing the hallway, I was blocked by a beautiful dark haired, crystal blue eyed guy. I stood there breathless for a few seconds, gazing upon his blue eyes.

"I-Im sorry about barging in I was just looking for my sister, Elena" He just stood there watching me then spoke. "You must be Madison, I'm Damon, Stefan's brother" I stood there shocked by his response.

"He didn't tell me that he had a brother" I said to him trying not to let his good looks throw off any suspicion on why he was in here.

"Well Stefan's not the one to brag, Please come" He took me by the hand. "I'm sure Stefan will be along any second" Please don't come Stefan maybe I can have a couple of extra minutes with this guy that is way too hot for me to take.

He leaded me into a huge room. "Wow, this is your living room" I must be dreaming, I mean a intriguing guy and flawless house? There must be some sort of a catch.

"Living room, parlor, Sotheby's auction, it's a little kitschy for my taste" He looked over at me and I swear that I have seen him before. "Do I know you from somewhere, you just look really familiar" He looked back at me with a little mystery in his eyes."I don't know, maybe but I don't think I would forget such a beautiful face" I blushed but quickly played it off.

"Hello Stefan" Damon said with a smirk on his lips. I turned around to see Stefan. "Madison, I didn't know you where coming over" Oh yeah that "I know I should have called, I ju-" Damon interrupted me but I could care less.

"Oh don't be silly, your welcome anytime, isn't she Stefan? They both stared at each other like there was a entirety different conversation going on between just the two of them.

"You know, we should break out the old family albums, or some home movies but I have to warn you, I wasn't always such a looker". They wouldn't stop staring at each other. Things just got weird to creepy.

"Thank you for stopping by Madison, nice to see you" Ok I should go. "Yeah, I should probably go, it was nice to meet you Damon" He looked at me. "Great meeting you too, Madison"

He took my hand a kissed it all by looking into my eyes. I turned to walk out but Stefan looked like a statute, still and not moving.
"Stefan" He didn't look at me once but moved so that I could leave.

I went into the kitchen and started helping Jenna cook dinner. "Stefan has raging family issues like a insanely hot brother" Jenna looked at me.

"Well at least that's Elena's problem but just wait till you find a guy with mommy issues or cheating issues so I think having a hot brother isn't all that bad"

I just took a bite of food off of my plate and nodded my head in agreement. I heard the door open and I was too lazy to see who it was so Aunt Jenna went over to the door.

"Jeremy, where were you" Jeremy walked up the stairs. "More stoner stories, look, Jenna, I get it , you where cool and so that's cool" He walked up the stairs farther. "Oh no, no ,no" she said.

Then threw her Apple at his head. Jeremy turned around "Ow why?

"Why did I even bring you with me" Elena asked to no one in particular. I guess just because Stefan isn't here, she is being all bitchy.

"Because I asked you to" Tonight is that comet thing that only happens in like 145 years so almost the whole town was gathered here to watch it.

The only reason to come for me is to find Damon and get Elena and Stefan together but it doesn't look like either of those things are going to happen.

I saw Caroline rushing over to us with a bunch of tiny candles. "Hey guys I got you a candle" Yay I love candles. "Haha thanks care"

I walked over to Matt and used my lit candle to light his. "Thanks" He said and I smiled back at him while I went over to Elena and Stefen.

They both stood there while Elena lit his candle. "Hey" Stefan said. "Hi" Elena said
I left those two love birds alone while I looked for Damon.

I finally saw him but with a certain blonde and my smile disappeared.  |
