//real life: the weekend//
"mama called me destructive, said it'd ruin me on day, yeah cause cause every woman that loved me, I seemed to push them away"

| CAROLINE WAS admiring the new necklace I gave her that had revain in it to keep all the 'dark spirits' out.

"It's so pretty, thank you" Caroline said to me as we where walking. "God, it'll go with, like, everything, what's the occasion? I smiled back at her.

"No occasion just a little friend gift" I replied to her as we both sat down outside. "Lesbian fiend necklace 'cause we're freaky like that"

She said as we put our books down on the table. "Your friendship is important to me" I said with another smile. "Why are you being so mushy? I picked up my lunch and set it down in front of me.

"Because you have been avoiding me, and I wanted you to know that whatever is going on with you and Matt, it's ok" She took a deep breath.

"I was gonna talk to you about that....I was but there's just not much to say, we've hung out a couple of times, that's it, but I just feel like we've peaked as friends"

I nodded at her not really knowing where this conversation is going. "This is weird I shouldn't be talking to you about this" I shook my head and shrugged.

"It's not a big deal" I said as I took a bite out of my apple. "Just because my sister dated Matt doesn't mean that I don't support you"

LATER THAT NIGHT..

I was walking to my car when I got a phone call. Not bothering to look at the collar ID I just answered it.

"Hello? I asked into the phone. "Hello, Madison" I pulled out my keys to the car and I turned my head. "Who is this" I said.

"You hit me with your car, is that a new one? I slowly turned around and saw a guy walking toward me. "You got away from me, you won't next time"

I tried to open my car door with my keys but I was too busy thinking of the creepy ass guy behind me that almost killed me. I finally got the door to the car open and quickly jumped in and sped away from him.

Why do all the creepy guys come after me and not someone else.

"Well today was a drag" I said as I walked into my house. Elena walked over to me and started to talk.

"We need to just stay here or something till Stefan figures this out" I rolled my eyes as I went over to the fridge. "I'm not going to just hide out" I'm not going to be known for always being the girl who hides from her problems.

"You know Damon helps too" Elena walked over to me and put her hands together. "You never really told me what you did when you spent the weekend with Damon" I laughed at her.

"You never told me what you and Stefan did all weekend either so I guess we both don't know some things" Elena laughed sarcastically at me and sat down on the couch.

I started to search the fridge for any signs of pizza. "How do we not have any pizza in here? I said now really wanting a response. I finally gave up and sat down next to Elena on the couch.

"I like Damon" I blurted out. She looked over at me with her eyes almost popping out. "You can't like him! I'm sorry but he is a monster"
