I WALKED INTO school with Bonnie and Elena. I looked down the hall to see Matt and Caroline being a little extra chatty. "Did I miss something? I asked Bonnie and Elena. "They've been hanging out" Bonnie told me as I noticed that Matt was also looking at Caroline and Matt.

"Kind of weird don't you think? I asked them as we walked further down the hall.
"She needs someone nice like him, as opposed to a homicidal vampire like Damon. That was a good one Bon Bon.

"Yeah, how are you doing with all that? Elena asked her as she looked over at Bonnie

"I'm freaked out, Damon attacked Madi, and she could be dead right now" I sighed as I thought about how I haven't seen Damon in which seems like forever.

"Well I'm just grateful, to Stefan, he saved my life, and.....have you seen him? I asked Elena

"Not since he told me he was leaving"

"For all I know, he's already gone"
"Elena, he wouldn't leave without you or at least without saying goodbye"
"Madi's right, he wouldn't leave without you" Bonnie said as Elena went to her locker.

"Yes,he would" Elena said while getting her books out of her locker. "He thinks he's protecting me, clean break and all that"

"So what are you gonna do? Bonnie asked Elena as she closed the locker.

"What am I supposed to do? Elena questioned Bonnie. "I already begged him not to go"
"If I ask again I'm being selfish"

I rolled my eyes. "Well Elena if you really wanted him, you would do everything you could to get him to stay" With that comment, I walked away from them.

Elena always has to make everything about her doesn't she. She should try everything to make sure Stefan stays, not just complain about nothing being done.

Sometimes I think I don't belong here, with this town I mean.

I walked out of school glad that it was over but I still had homework.. unfortunately

As I walked over, I saw Elena and Stefan talking to each other. Not wanting to get into that, I turned my head away and walked the other way. "Madi! I heard Elena scream at me. Well I almost got away

"Elena! Stefan! hey didn't see you over here" I said sarcastically. Elena just rolled her eyes at me. "There was a murder" Stefan told me. "What? Damon get his feelings hurt or something" I said back.

"It's wasn't Damon" I dropped my chin. "Then that means-" Elena interrupted me. "-Another vampire is in town" I looked at her then back at Stefan.

"So do you have any idea who else it could be? I asked Stefan worried. "None" He replied. I sat down on the bench by Elena.

Just what we need, another vampire going around killing innocent people. "It has to be someone we haven't met because I thought you and Damon where the only you-know vampires around here" I said in a hushed tone.

"What are you going to do? Elena asked Stefan, looking almost as worried as me. "Damon is tracking him right now" What is Damon a vampire killer and a tracker now.

"Just be careful" Stefan told Elena and I. "Of course" I said back with a smile. When am I never careful.
