LEVI'S POV

"Hey (y/n). " I listened quietly in the cafeteria as everyone approached the (h/c) haired captain. He sat a table away and my back was facing him. I couldn't help but be a little jealous that everyone was talking to him, but what power do I have over that?

"Are you going to be training us today?" A girl asked and I could hear her heart beating from over here. (Y/n) was a good looking male and everyone knew it of course. Girls would ask him out or they would ask to sit next to him and I got to listen to all of it. To my happiness, he said no, but it still made me jealous that he didn't pay attention to me like that.

"Well, I was hoping that captain Levi would help with that. I'm not as good as he is. "His voice was strong, but still had some gentleness lacing every word, unlike mine. I pretended to not pay attention to the conversation and continued to sip at the black tea I held.

TIMESKIP

"Thank you Heichou. " (Y/n) thanked me for agreeing to help with the training.

"Stop thanking me," I said lowly as we now stood in front of the cadets.

"You're going to train them. I'm watching. " I stood back and (y/n) nodded. It was then I noticed the height difference, which was almost nonexistent. I was about an inch taller than him and thank god I had grown in the past few months, so I'd didn't have to look up anymore (except to Erwin. Damn eyebrows).

I watched as he talked about the hand-to-hand combat, the 3d gear, and how to use it. He was fine at instructing. So why did he want me to come? I thought about this, but I dropped the subject after a while.

"(Y/n)."

"Yes Captain?"

"After you're done with training, come to my office. " I walked off the fields after that.

TIMESKIP THIRD PERSON

Levi heard soft knocking on his door as he was finishing his paperwork.

'He's too gentle sometimes.' Levi thought.

"Come in." (Y/n) walked inside and stood in the middle of the room. For a very long time before either of them spoke, they stared at each other, studying each other as if it would be the last time.

"C-captain, you wanted to see me?" He shifted uncomfortably and Levi stood up from his chair. He walked to the door and closed it fully, locking it.

"Levi. " He faced him once again and the confusion was written on (y/n)'s face.

"Call me Levi. I've told you this." Levi pushed him against the desk and trapped the smaller male in between his arms.

"Why did you want me to 'help' with training if you could do it yourself?" A faint pink blush dusted itself across his (s/c) skin and almost made the black haired male smirk in triumph.

"Training is the only time I get to interact with you, and you would've said no if I asked any other way. "

"How do you know that?" (Y/n) had a mischevious smirk on his face and Levi sighed.

"Brat. I'm not going to say it. You've heard it many times." (Y/n) sighed knowing that Levi was going to get his way.

"I.." (Y/n) inched closer to his face.

"Love.." They could feel each other's breathes bing across their lips as the gap was slowly closing.

"You." The (h/c) haired male pressed his lips to Levi's and moved his arms to his neck. In response, Levi's hands went to (y/n)'s waist. The kiss was slow and loving, making up for all the time that they hadn't been together.

"You're such a pain in the ass." Levi spoke against (y/n)'s lips and the smaller boy smiled.

"I know, but you love me anyway. "
