MIKASA'S POV

'She's gone, again. I wish she would actually come to training. I know she's one of the best, but it wouldn't kill her to try.'

I sighed as I got dressed in my uniform. (Y/n) was no where to be found. It's not uncommon. She never really liked socializing or being around people. She always had her left eye covered by a hood, that went across her face diagonally, and reached the bottom of her nose. The only thing anyone would see was her mouth and her right eye. The superiors gave up with trying to get her to go to training. The last time they tried she outran them.

I walked out to the dirt field surrounded by a fence where we sparred with each other. (Y/n) was leaning in the fence at the far end, her hood still over her head. My dull expression brightened as I walked over to her.

"Hello Mikasa. " She brought her head up and I saw a small smile on her face.

"Hi (y/n). What made you decide to come today?"

"He made me," she pointed to Levi, "he found one of my hiding spots and I didn't feel like arguing. So I came. " I nodded in response.

"You should go and train, before you get in trouble for "slacking off"," (y/n) said with another smile.

"Why don't you spar with me? It would keep us both out of trouble. " (Y/n) seemed to think about it, but she nodded and pushed herself off the fence. We chose a spot in the far back of the field where most people don't go.

"Ready?" I asked getting in my fighting stance.

"Ready." (y/n) just stood there. I ran towards her with the wooden blade in my hand and aimed for her arm while I tried to sweep her legs with mine. She leaned to the side and jumped, missing both. The whole time we were fighting, all she did was dodge and I was trying to hit her. In the end, neither of us won and we were breathing hard as we leaned over the fence.

"Mikasa?"

"Hm?"

"After dinner, meet me in front of the unused forest. I want to show you something. " I hummed in reply as we both got up and walked over to our gear to continue training.

TIME SKIP YOUR POV

This is one of the reasons why I don't go to training. I get sweaty and I smell bad. I have to take shower, which means I have to take off my hood, and risk the possibility of others seeing my eye. I was walking through the hallways to the girls dorm to take a shower. I could ask my best friend Hanji, but she would try and take my hood like the last time.

I sighed and walked into the girls' dorm, and it was empty.

'Oh yeah, they all went to dinner. Speaking of, I need to take a shower so I can meet Mikasa.'

I wasted no time stripping the sweaty clothing, getting clean clothes, and taking a shower. Right as I was putting on the new clothes, I heard the dorm door open. I quickly got in the rest of my clothes and put my hood on over my head. Walking out of the bathroom, I saw Mikasa sitting on her bed. She looked up and she smiled a bit.

"I was just about to go to the forest, but since you're here, lets go together." She said as she stood up and grabbed my hand, running out of the door. At the forest line, we slowed down and I walked ahead, still holding Mikasa's hand. I finally reached a field with cherry blossom tress every where and a little river going through the middle.

"How'd you find this?" Mikasa asked, looking around with the eyes of a child.

"It's one of my hiding spots. It's so far back in the forest it would take someone else days to find it. " I said back, pulling her to sit down next to the river.

"You can take your hood off. I've seen your eye before." she said, putting her head on my lap. I pushed it back and my left eye and my (h/c) bangs were exposed. My eye was different color, but the color was abnormal. It was white and black and it looked a bit like ying and yang. I've always gotten teased for it. The parents of the children I was friends with telling them not to hang out with me. They thought I was a freak. So I hid it. Mikasa was the only one in the Survey Corps who knows about it. She found out because we were in the city and the wind blew my hood back. She just happened to be the only one there.

I stared out at river that was shimmering in the moonlight. My hair flew back in the wind, letting the light illuminate my (s/c) skin. I looked down at Mikasa and she was fondling with a cherry blossom petal. I placed my hand on her cheek and she leaned into it.

MIKASA'S POV

I felt (y/n)'s hand in my cheek and I leaned into. I brought my hand up to her cheek and pulled her down to my face. We stared at each other for a bit before I leaned up and kissed her. She kissed back. It's not like we haven't done this before. When you're dating someone you tend to kiss them.

I felt her smile and she pulled away, running the pad of her thumb over my cheek.

"When are you going to tell them?" I asked.

"Tell them what?"

"About your eye." I was worried they would find out in a bad way and be mean to (y/n) about it.

"Soon. When are you going to tell them?" She responded back. I knew exactly what she was talking about, but I still asked.

"Tell them what?" I smiled at her, making direct eye contact.

"That your pregnant."

"You're already so excited even though it isn't yours," she chuckled slightly before continuing, "I'll tell them soon. " I kissed her again, her other hand that wasn't on my cheek was on my stomach. The two week old fetus kicking a bit.
