My Pokemon are weak, so despite how much I want to, I can't catch any more Pokemon until I heal my Pokemon. Luckily for me, Canoa City isn't that far from Springlake Town! It's still about a mile and half away, however. And walking for an hour and a half is exhausting... But hey, I'm almost there! The tops of towering building can be seen at the edge of the horizon. I'd run to it from here, but I'm not used to walking this much... Meaning I'm exhausted... Hopefully my body adapts soon.
I continued my slow walking towards Canoa City. As I walking, I take a look around the route. The summer breeze blew gently against the deep green trees. The sun shine bright, and a few Pokemon were sunbathing while others hid away in the shade. There was a huge diversity of Pokemon, and they all seemed to get along with each other. Heck, there was even a Dragonite playing with a Skitty!
"Hey, maybe look where you're going while you walk?" Someone hissed as someone grabbed my shoulders. I looked in front of me to see a girl about my age giving me a death glare. Jeez...
"Sorry." I reply monotonously, trying to be polite.
"Whatever." The hooded girl said, before walking away. The Cyndaquil on her shoulder looked back at me and smiled apologetically. I wonder if the Cyndaquil even likes her? He might have just gotten used to her. Well, I can't just stand around, the city is really close now! But, I'm still exhausted. I'll just keep walking the rest of the way.
It seemed like the moment I stepped into Canoa City, the atmosphere changed. This city was known for its technology, and I could tell why. I can't really explain it, but everything looked and felt like something of the future. At least the Pokemon Centre was right by the entrance, thank Arceus. I trudged towards the building, nearly collapsing on Nurse Joy's counter.
"Can I help you...?" She asked uncertainly.
"I meed... A room..." I said between breaths. Who knew I was this out of shape...
"Here..." She said, not bothering to charge me. I handed her my Pokemon for her to heal them, and once she was done I wordlessly trudged towards my room. Once I got in, I collapsed into the soft, cozy bed. After a few minutes, the phone in my room rang. When I picked it up, the all to familiar voice began to talk.
"Don't ask how I got ahold of you." He said sternly.
"Okay." I replied.
"So you know, if you don't do as I wish on your journey, you will be tortured and killed." He said. My father everyone, my father...
"Okay." I said again. I waited for a few seconds before realising he had hung up. I sighed and went back to the bed. This isn't good... Not at all...
"Ugh, what do I do?" I asked myself. "I can't kill innocents! But, do I want to die for strangers? Then again, do I want to... Kill people?" Out of frustration, I began to cry. I haven't cried in years, and it made me feel weak and vulnerable. Just how I was raised, I guess.
Might as well get ready for sleep, I guess. I grabbed my pyjamas out of my bag and walked towards the shower. I turned it on and got undressed, and once it was hot I stepped in. I don't know how logb I spent in the shower, lost in thoughts, but when snapped out of my thoughts, the water was ice cold. I shrieked a little and hurriedly turning off the water and getting out. I didn't get to actually clean myself, oh well. I out on my pyjamas and brush my teeth, before turning off the light and crawling into bed. Oh, if only I actually could sleep...
