Sun blares on the window straight to your face as you slowly open your eyes. The space next to you is empty, as usual you look for your phone which you found dead. You immediately plugged it in hoping there's already power which you are pretty sure there is. You went ahead and did your morning routine before following the sound located in the kitchen. You know it's Lizzie, she's singing Doja Cat's song as she sways at the beat. This seems like a déjà vu and you are not complaining.

She turned around and jumped in surprise. "What the hell, Y/N!" Lizzie said, clutching the spatula in her chest. You couldn't help but laugh at her current state.

"Don't be dramatic." You said, still laughing whilst you got a pout in response.

You don't have to ask what she's cooking since you can see that there's eggs and bacon on the plate and because it's the only thing on the fridge. You need to add groceries to your to do list.

"Announce yourself next time." She pouted as she finished putting the food she cooked on the plate.

"Well, I was once again enjoying your performance, Doja Cat better watch out." You teased, making her smile. You help her set up the table so you both can eat breakfast.

"What are your plans for today?" She asked while fixing her plate.

"I have to attend a meeting and.... that's pretty much it. What about you?" There's nothing much to do in your job, it's either you have to attend a meeting or seminar and that's about it. You have to report every Friday though, that's why you badly need a break every Saturday.

"Nothing... you know how much I hoped this time would come when I was working but now I'm just like... what to do now." She shrugs.

"Why don't you hang out with your other friends?" You asked curiously. You're sure she has many friends she could spend her time with aside from being stuck with you.

"Most of my friends have work to do and kids, that's why I'm stuck with you." She said, eating the toast with avocado she made. Which you didn't even know existed in the fridge.

"Oh so I am just convenient." You squint your eyes looking at her, she smiles charmingly which makes you smile. You're glad she's not your girlfriend because you just know you wouldn't be able to stay mad at her for anything.

"That's not what I mean, please." She puts her hand on top of yours. You don't know how a simple friendly gesture can make you this nervous. "I like having your company, and I like you." She added so casually.

Lizzie decided to invite herself to stay, not that you would kick her out because you love having her around as well. After breakfast she seems out of it, you weren't able to do much as you were swamped with a surprising heavy workload.

Lunch came and both of you ate in silence, she's looking like she's in deep thought and you don't have it in you to pry. The lunch was quick since you also had to attend a seminar, and she was fine by it and was just laying on the couch in the living room watching Netflix wearing the shirt that you lend her.

You were able to get a call from Scarlett saying she will be very busy and won't be able to call you later tonight. It made you sad a little since you miss her badly but at least you have Lizzie to keep me company.

You walked slowly in the living room, you saw Lizzie laying there still watching Netflix. You sat next to her and her eyes never once left the T.V. You look at her and you can see her watching the scene so intently.

"What are you watching?" Her face scrunched up by hearing your voice. You guess she really doesn't want to be bothered while watching the show.

"The 100, shush." Lizzie shoved you lightly to shut you up. You think it's cute that she's so focused on the film.
