WARNING

Days and nights have passed and you've done nothing but keep Scarlett happy in a way you know how. You've followed every rule, apologize, and showed her how much you love her each night.

Everything seems fine now. Fine. Fine. Fine. You are fine and she seems fine.

However, the sinking feeling in your stomach won't leave you alone each time you have to close your eyes. The shadow of another woman plays in your mind as you lay next to your girlfriend. It would drag you back to the reality that any of this is not fine.

Maybe you need help. Not a maybe– you need help. And so you contacted your bestfriend, she can help you.

Or so you thought.

"Are you fucking serious?" Your bestfriend, Cassie gasp at the information you just let out. She had her one hand over her dropped jaw and the other over her chest.

You shush her, before checking if anyone have heard. No one seems to be paying any attention to the both of you.

"Would I joke about something like that?"

"Oh my gosh," Cassie shook her head, "I never thought you could do something like this at all. We saw each other a week ago, you never said anything."

"It's not very grocery like conversation you know. Besides, I'm ashamed." You hang your head low, ashamed to even look at her.

"As you should be." She scolded you, forming a crinkle in her forehead. Another person you have disappointed.

Cassie is one of the people who have witness how the love grow between you and Scarlett. She was there from the very beginning, it was even a joke that she was the designated third wheel. Her, hearing this news is such a heartbreak. The three of you might not go out as much as before but she expected nothing but wedding bells.

"What am I gonna do?" You sigh, feeling defeated more than anything.

Scarlett was reluctant on letting you out the house today or maybe forever but after confirming to her by Cassie she was convinced and decided to let you go.

She has been monitoring your every move, if she can probably control your breathing she would. You've bought been this upon yourself, this is what you deserve.

"Why didn't you just break up with her the first time you felt something weird about Wanda." Cassie rolled her eyes, she doesn't understand why you didn't just end it right away.

Well, it doesn't surprised her. You stayed with your ex for four years because you were scared you're making the wrong decision even though in that case your ex was the toxic one.

"Lizzie," You corrected her and she just shrugs her shoulder, giving you the look that says 'Not the point', you rolled your eyes before answering again, "I thought there would be no next time."

"That's such a bullshit excuse. That's such a cheater thing to say." She hollered, making some of the people on the other table bats an eye towards the both of you.

"Will you keep it down? Please." You plead, with your eyes begging.

You don't want this to be on the next news. It would ruin both Scarlett's and Lizzie's career, most definitely yours.

"Honestly, it's not fair that you're hurting them both. These people are literally one of the Goddesses in Hollywood. Do you even know how many people would be so thankful just being in Scarlett's presence?"

You let out a big sigh, all of what she's been saying is true, leaving you with no place to argue. Not that you will anyway, there's no arguing with being a cheater.
