The strong wind made the brunches of the tree hits the windowpane on your bedroom. The sun was up but it was clouded for anyone to see. You enjoy weather like this, it isn't too cold and it isn't too hot either. It was just calm and relaxing.
The tick of the clock on your living room can be heard all the way to your room, it was ringing through the walls alongside Lizzie's steady breathing.
You don't know how many hours you have been laying in the bed with her and frankly you don't want to know. Seeing the time would only remind you of how little there is left that you can stay. If it's only your decision that party be damned.
"We should start getting up soon." Lizzie's soothing voice startled you from your thoughts.
You groaned, hugging her tightly preventing her as she tries to move away from you. "Can we just stay here and pretend we have nothing to do?"
"I would love that but you're starting to hurt my boobs."
"What? I'm not even doing anything to them."
"You're squishing it with your big ass head."
You gasp playfully before maneuvering your way out of her arms and straddling her hips. "Hey, that's mean my head is not that big." You crossed your arms across your chest and pouted.
Lizzie can't stop herself from smiling at how cute you look on top of her.
She tilts her head left to right, as if inspecting your head. "I don't know about that, it looks big from down here."
Your pout turns into a frown making Lizzie giggle in your action. You were being too cute and she's loves it.
"Baby, no, take that back." Your fingers made its way to each side of her body, threatening to tickle her in your mercy.
Lizzie shook her head, eyes determined. Grinning from ear to ear your hands did the work on her weak spots making her giggle hard that tears started coming out of her eyes. "You made the wrong choice." You said in between your breath. Squirming Lizzie on full force is a lot to hold down.
"Stop please." With her eyes glistening, and her breath unstable as her giggles, she yelped, "I take it back."
You stop the movement and grin to the woman below you who is red as a tomato. Lizzie's breathing slowly settles down but you remain on top of her, admiring her beauty.
You stared at her for a minute or so, and Lizzie can't help but blush on your loving gaze.
"Can I kiss you?"
Lizzie blush even more if that's even possible at the out of the blue question. God knows how many times you both shared a kiss, for Pete's sake you've kiss parts of her body hidden to the world so why the hell would you start asking now? It doesn't help the way you're looking at her either like she's the most beautiful girl you've ever seen.
All Lizzie could do was nod and your head is on its way. Your lips brush against hers, the taste of your lips makes her stomach flip, you're kissing her slow as if she's the finest porcelain. And all of these unusual things that you do make her heart pound against her chest and her brain to short circuit.
There's no denying it, she's is in love with you. With the way you move and the way that you are. It was never just about lust and she is just slowly finding out.
Lizzie slowly parts away from the kiss, you groan, displeasure evident in your face. She looks up to you, her green eyes dilate at your image, not because of lust but because of a strong sense of happiness.
Realizing what she's admitting to herself, Lizzie felt dizzy.
"It's past 3pm, I have to go home and get ready for the party."
