Months had gone by, everything seems to be normal except its not. You don't think it will ever be. It's like you've been casted in a movie to play your life. You aren't really pretending but you aren't being real either.

You and Scarlett had moved to New York to start fresh. It wasn't really the ideal place for you but she wanted to move there. Just like a genie, you granted her wish.

It's far from what you've ever known. It's far from your family and friends and specially it's far from Lizzie. Which exactly was the point of it all.

You haven't heard much about her, well, you haven't heard anything about her at all. You didn't even got to watch the movie she was on out of respect to your girlfriend.

You are doing your best to fix absolutely everything for this relationship to actually have a chance again.

You stir awake, feeling the soft touches on your cheek. "Hey babe." Scarlett mumbles. You open your eyes to see her looking at you sweetly. Your lips curve up to smile, placing your hand where hers are.

"How's your sleep?" Your smile falters at the question.

How could it not? You dreamt about Lizzie. And even in your dreams you aren't as faithful as you should have been. The way Lizzie's lips trails from your neck down to where you need her the most makes your dream a complete ecstasy.

Why can't you be just like your girlfriend? Your faithful and loyal girlfriend?

"It was alright." You replied awkwardly, you pressed your eyes shut trying to erase the memory out of your mind. "Yours?"

Scarlett looks at you curiously, you are an odd one but she loves you very much. "It's better, always better when I'm sleeping next to you." She says, she continue to softly stroke your cheek.

There was a moment of silence between the two of you. It wasn't awkward nor was it heavy, it was just silence.

The sun breaking through the thick curtains installed in your bedroom window brings such fresh feeling of the morning.

It makes you somehow vulnerable.

"I'm glad you stayed." Your girlfriend whispers as she looks at you softly in the eyes.

Its been months but Scarlett still can't believe you actually choose her. It should have been obvious but it wasn't; she was so scared that you would leave her.

"Me too." You answered, uncertainty filled your chest.

Its been months but you still crave someone else's touch. The ache to have Lizzie close to you chase you every night like an addict. Your skin would crawl every time you remember her finger touch.

"We can fix this. I can see the progress." Scarlett whispers, the need to convince you is strong. Even though you choose her, there's no guarantee of how tight your holding on.

You bit your lip trying to scratch the skin out of habit, habit you picked up whenever you're feeling guilty.

The progress is there but how long would it take?

Scarlett can sense the sudden nerves that hits you. Closing the gap between the two of you, she place her forehead against yours. "You and me, for better and for worse." She whispers, you nodded in agreement.

"I love you." Spoken lightly, you look at her deep in the eyes. Scarlett blush like q teenager, this has been the first time you've said it first in so long.

Smiling from ear to ear she replied, "I will always love you more."  She closed the gap between the two of you. Her lips sealed yours slowly, with so much passion.
