*Recap

"You look hot!" Rebekah exclaimed as I walked into the living room.

"Thanks. Where are we going?" I asked hesitant.

"We're going to a club." She said mischief clear in her eyes.

"Now Beks. I don't know if this a very good idea." I said trying not to offend her.

"Did I ask if I thought it was a good idea? No? I didn't think so. I love you, Stefan." She said bending down to kiss Stefan.

"Love you, too. Be safe." He said to her, and she scuffed smirking.

"Stefan, keep Aurora safe. If even a little hair on her precious head is missing, cut, or even harmed. I will skin you, over, and over again." I threatened, and I spun around to see Klaus holding Aurora. I smiled at her small sleeping body then glanced up to look at Klaus.

"How would you even know if something happened to her hair?" Rebekah asked amused.

"She's Caroline." Stefan, and Klaus said simultaneously.

"I'm serious, Stefan." I said, and turned to glare at Klaus who was laughing.

"She's safe Caroline. Go." Klaus said smiling, and I narrowed my eyes at him as I walked towards him, and kissed my baby's head.

"The same goes for you, Klaus." I said looking at him.

"Duley noted." He said smirking, and I rolled my eyes walking towards Rebekah who was standing at the door impatiently.

"Let's go." I said, and she sighed in relief.

"Finally!" She exclamed grabbing my arm, and speeding away from the mansion. I smiled into the wind as it flowed through my long blonde curls.

"Enjoying it back there?" Rebekah asked as I sighed in content while she still had a firm grip running through the woods with me.

"I forgot how good this felt!" I said smiling into the wind.

"I know. I'm stopping." She warned, and she came to a slow stop so I most likely wouldn't fall.

"Where are we?" I asked confused as I looked around. We were in an empty field with that had a trail of flowers leading to our destination, I presumed.

"Now don't freak out." She started.

"This is far from a club, Rebekah! Who is this for?" I asked in astonishment.

"You. I know this isn't what you expected, Caroline. You just became a mom, and a lot has been messed up because of this MoonGoddess character. So, I got you a date. You're having dinner, and Nik is going to watch Aurora. Stefan, and I are going to go on our own date, too." Rebekah said hopeful.

"Rebekah! Tell me you didn't!" I said in anger, and astonishment.

"You don't even know who it is." She scoffed.

"It's Elijah!" I whispered harshly at her.

"No it's not." She chuckled.

"Then who else could it be?" I asked not believing her.

"Go see. Have fun! I know I will!" She said smugly, and ran off.

"Ugh! She's now on my hit list." I muttered annoyed. I sighed in frustration, and slowly almost reluctantly walked down the beautiful lily flower trail. Who could she have possibly picked apart from her brothers? The only people I've been around in the last nine, or so months have been her family, the Mystic Falls gang, Marcel, Marie from the motel. Please tell me she didn't pick a random person off the streets! I begged silently, and listened to hear if my 'date' had a heartbeat, and sure enough it did. Their heart was beating at a fast past, almost nervously. She picked a random human off the streets! I yelled in my head.

"Hey, Care." A male vocie said startling me out of my thoughts. I looked at him in shock.

"Matt?" I asked shocked.

"The one, and only." He smiled.

"What are you doing here?" I asked confused, and he laughed putting his hands in his pockets. nervously.

"I'm your date." He said, and I smiled gratefully.

"You look very handsome." I complimented, and he smiled. He had his hair as usual while he wore dark blue jeans, a maroon pollo, and black dress shoes.

"Thanks. Rebekah picked it out. She said, and I quote ' I had to, dress the part'." He said using air quotation marks, and I laughed at him.

"Wait! Sorry! Here!" He said in embarrasment when he ran around the table, and pulled out a chair for me while I laughed at his embarrrased expression.

"Thank you." I said smiling as I looked around at my sorroundings. Tall trees were circled around us while there was a small trail with the lily flowers. The trees were bare of any leaves leaving the dark blue sky shining bright with stars.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" Matt asked smiling up at the sky.

"It's mystical. This is the first time I've felt true peace since I was turned a vampire." I said in awe as I smiled at the sky, and him. He was geniunely sad for me, his faced said it all. The lost look in his eyes while his lips held a tight, yet genuine smile.

"I'm sorry about whats happened to you. You don't deserve this life." He said sympathetic, but I just smiled at him.

"No one desereves this, Matt. But, I have a baby girl to look after now. She's going to change everything." I said confidently.

"How? Wait, don't answer that." He said, and I smiled at him, curiously.

"We are just two normal people, on a weird sort of semi date thing. No supernatural talk." He said, and I smiled gratefully.

"Okay! How's the Grill?" I asked as we started to eat pasta.

"You know, staying there, never to move. Kidding!" He laughed when I shook my head at him.

"It's going good. Do you like the pasta?" He asked smiling.

"I love it! I'm glad that everything's going good at the Grill." I said, and he smiled. We sat in silence for a little while just enjoying each pthers company, but I noticed the questioning looks he sent me.

"What is it?" I asked him patiently.

"What is what?" He asked innocently nervous.

"What you want to ask me." I said raising my eyebrows at him.

"How's life with Aurora?" He asked, and I smiled shaking my head.

"It's different. I have a lot of people there to help me, but I want to do it on my own. But, I can't. I have so problems it seems as if everytime I spend a second with her something else intervenes. It's hard, it really is. But, you, and I both know that wasn't your question."

"When are you leaving with Aurora, and where are you going?" He asked.
