"Have you thought about my proposal?" He asked, and I smiled.

"You really want to me, and Aurora to leave, and live with you? Somewhere far away?" I asked unsure, and he nodded chuckling slightly.

"Yes I do." He confirmed, and I smiled.

"Okay." I nodded smiling at him brightly.

"Care?" A voice asked quietly, and I silently cursed myself for not being quieter. I inhaled a deep breath, and turned towards her.

"Yeah, Beks?" I asked quietly, and she crossed her arms over her chest narrowing her eyes at me.

"Where?" She asked, and I sighed.

"I don't know." I conceited, and she frowned.

"Does he know?" She asked quietly.

"I'm leaving with him." I whispered, and her face stayed stoic as she walked over to an empty suitcase helping me pack.

"You know how I feel about you, and my brother. Just please don't let my niece get hurt." She whispered quietly.

"I'm not the only one leaving, Beks." I whispered as a tear fell down my cheek.

"What?" She asked in confusion, and I gave her a small smile.

"Stefan." I whispered, and her eyes widened in shock.

"You knew he was leaving?" She asked in hurt, and shock.

"He's taking you with him." I explained before she tried to kill me with my baby in the room.

"What? Where?" She asked shocked, confused, and still a hint of anger.

"I don't know. That's the point of making a new start." I whispered trying to keep my tears at bay.

"Will I ever see you all again?" She asked making a small choking sound as tears flowed from her eyes.

"We'll always be around, Rebekah. We are immortals after all." I joked halfheartedly.

"You're immortal, I'm a vampire." She said.

"No, you're an original." I said confidently.

"What about, Aurora?" She asked quietly.

"It'll be her choice, I can't take her choice of a family, and children." I whispered my heart breaking at the thought of losing her.

"If she chooses not to become a vampire, or hybrid then you find me. Please." She begged, and I let out a small whimper.

"I love you, Rebekah! I'll keep her safe. I'll take so many pictures of her it'll be like you never missed a day." I whispered, and we both let out a sob.

"I love you, Care. Make sure she knows I love her, even my brother." She whispered.

"I will, and you do the same for me, to Stefan." I whispered, and she nodded as she left after we gave each other a quick hug.

"Time to leave, my precious baby." I whispered softly as I carefully sat the suitcases beside each other. I smiled as I heard him enter the room, and turned asking to look at him to see him looking at Aurora.

"Ready?" He said smiling softly, and I nodded smiling.

"I love you, Caroline Forbes. Forever, and always." He said,and my smile brightened.

"I love you, too. Forever, and always, Niklaus Mikaelson." I said smiling as he kissed me softly.

*A wise man once said to live in the moment is total bliss, but to love, even to lose that love, is better than to never love at all. So, on this day I choose not only bliss. I choose to be myself, to let my heart make the decision, it may not always guide me in the right direction, but it will always have my best interest. I am not just giving in to my heart, but I am starting anew. I will be independent, caring, nurturing, dangerous, loving, so many things, but in the end I will be with the man, and child I love. I couldn't ask for anything better. This isn't the end, it's just the beginning.
