Today was relatively short.
Our first period was at 8AM. We had German with Mrs. Simpson. We did some listening excercises. But the boys wouldn't stay quiet, so we had to listen to the audio like five times. But I got all the answers right :)
Then we read out loud some articles from our books, in order to practice our reading and pronunciation.
„How about you read this article about German food, Robert?" Mrs. Simpson turned to him.
„Uhm, alright. Deutsch-land zeich-net sich du-rch sei-ne aus-gez-eich-nete Kü-che aus—"
„Enough. Why are you reading like a robot?" Mrs. Simpson asked him, confused.
„I think it's a bug. Can I continue?"
„Sure, but no jokes!"
„Zu den Ge-rich-ten zäh-len Kön-igs-ber-ger Klo-pse, Sau-er-kraut, vi-ele Wurst-sor-ten oder Rou-lad-en—"
„Kyle, read it again, but like a normal person, please."
Kyle actually read just like Mrs. Simpson wanted. And his accent was actually really good.
„Thanks. I think that's enough for today, kids."
(The translation of the article: Germany is characterized by its excellent cuisine. The traditional dishes include Königsberger Klopse, sauerkraut, many types of sausage or roulades.)

Our second period was Czech. Mrs. Hayes asked some kids that haven't paid for the class photos yet if they have the money with them.
„I don't have any money right now, but I'd like the pictures, how about you give me a little sale?" Brad asked the teacher.
„What do you mean by 'little sale'?"
„A hundred percent sale," he answered. The whole class laughed.
„Of course. I think it would be better if you brought the money on Monday."
„But it would be better for me if you gave me the sale—"
„No sales allowed," Mrs. Hayes silenced him.
Then we received some papers with exercises. But the bell rang immediately so we must do it as our homework.

I wrote my name on a paper that was on the school psychologist's door on our way to our next classroom for the upcoming period of civics. If I haven't told you/you didn't know (I use this phrase quite a lot, I think 😃) we did tests that should help us find a school/job for us, based on our intelligence, interests and skills. The psychologist will give us the results (our parents can come, too) of the tests and say some more to it. My parents told me to go alone, because I'll tell them everything that they'll need to know myself. I also want to be there alone. I'd like to deal with it like a real, responsible adult 😎 I'll go there for the results next Tuesday (14th September, 2021 🤓) at exactly 10:00AM. I'll tell you everything, of course :)

The third period was civics. Our teacher asked us about some new things that have been happening all around the world. We talked about sports, politics, films, etc. Then we watched some soccer highlights and a video about a politician.

And the last period was biology. Our teacher was 15 late, but that wasn't a huge problem. The boys tried to throw a bottle at a notice-board. They really managed to throw it there, and it stayed there. They threw another one in order to get the first one down, but it also got stuck there. It was very funny.
„How are we going to get both of them down?" Robin asked everyone.
„Let's throw another bottle!" Felix replied.
„I don't think it's a good idea—"
Felix threw a third bottle and it, surprisingly, got stuck there, too.
„Uh oh," he gasped.
„Great. What will you do now?" Robin got a bit mad.
„I think I've got an idea—"
„Throw a fourth bottle there?"
„No," he answered and went out of the classroom. Next to the classroom we were in is a small room in which there are things for cleaning. Felix grabbed a broom and threw it at the wall. He hit the notice-board. It moved a little bit to the side and the bottles fell one after another to the ground.
„You're a genius," Robert praised him.
„I know," Felix winked back at him.
Then our teacher, Mrs. Moore walked in.
We greeted her.
„Hello. I know this is our first lesson and that you want to relax but I want you to write some information about human biology into your textbooks."
„Sounds boring," Preston expressed himself.
„It might be, but you should focus on your grades more this year. I'm sure you don't want to fail classes like you almost did last year, right?" Mrs. Moore asked him.
„Hm."
That was his only answer.
„Now let me write a few things about the human muscles. Make sure to copy all the important stuff."
Mrs. Moore opened the board.
„What in the world is this?!"
Someone drew an Among us impostor on the inside of the board. The whole class started giggling.
„That's sus," Felix wanted to make others laugh even more.
„Mrs. Moore sus," Brad joined him.
„How about you stop these weird jokes and focus on biology?" she silenced us.
We made notes for the rest of the period. I made wrote down everything that was on the board. It took me around six pages :D

I don't think there's anything else I could add now. Sometimes I say (or write) everything and sometimes I keep things short. I guess I'll keep this simple the way it is. I might make a small update for this weekend, but I'm not sure, because I'd like to keep this whole thing school related (since it's about me and my school). I'll probably make an update next Monday, when I'm in school again. We have a school trip then :) I'm excited ☺️
