Today was very interesting. When the bell rang for our history lesson, Mrs. Hayes entered the classroom. She looked normal. Then another woman came. She introduced herself as Mrs. Lamb, a teacher from a gastronomic school. She told us everything about the school, so we could decide if we want to attend it or not. We also received pens and journals with a famous cook on it. Mrs. Lamb said he sometimes visits the school and helps the students.
„So, is there anyone who's sure they would like to attend our school?" Mrs. Lamb asked us.
Everyone looked at Audrey. She's a huge fan of cooking shows and wants to own a restaurant someday. But she just shrugged.
„Alright. Tell your parents about our school and decide! Have a nice day, and thank you."
Then Mrs. Lamb left the room.

„Well, I have something important to tell you," Mrs. Hayes announced.
I looked at the rest of the class. Everyone seemed to be excited
„We'll go on a school trip from 4th October until 6th October!"
We all started cheering.
„I'll give you more information next week," she added.
Then we talked about history. I heard some giggles from the back. I looked there and saw Brad doing some funny faces and Kyle was laughing at them.
„What are you laughing at?" Mrs. Hayes asked Kyle. She looked pretty annoyed.
„Sorry, but Brad was making a funny face," he answered her.
„Yeah, like this," Brad said and did the face again.
„You look like a fish," Mrs. Hayes smiled. We all thought she was okay with the boys having some fun. They also paid attention to her when she was speaking. Then Brad made Kyle laugh again.
„Are you laughing at me?!" Mrs. Hayes looked at them.
„No, I'm laughing at Brad, seriously—" Kyle stuttered.
„Kyle, get out!" the teacher yelled at him.
Kyle stood up and left the classroom. Poor Robin was so shocked that he giggled a bit, too.
„Robin, you also!" Mrs. Hayes told him to leave.
Robin left too.
It looked like Mrs. Hayes was about to continue talking about history. But then she jumped from her chair and ran to the door. Her running style didn't make the situation better. I heard Robert say she looks like an angry penguin. Oh no.
Mrs. Hayes opened the door and slammed it as much as she could. The boy who was sitting at the desk next to the door, Jake, covered his face, because he thought the wall was going to fall. I was surprised the door still worked after the slam.
We all sat still like statues. Then Adam was brave enough to speak: „I don't hear any yelling behind the doors, let's hope she didn't take them to the principal's office."
„Yeah," Lana nodded, „but they shouldn't have kept laughing. Mrs. Hayes looked uncomfortable when they giggled while she was speaking."
„True," Adam agreed.
Then our teacher came back.
„Make notes from your books, page sixteen to twenty. I'll give you an exam on Thursday (23th September)," she informed us.
Then the bell rang. She ran out of the classroom the same way she did before when she went to talk with Kyle and Robin. When she closed the door, everyone looked relieved.
„That was scary," John said.
„Yeah. Let's hope she'll be okay tomorrow," Felix added.
„I think I'll bring her a gift tomorrow. Like flowers or something," Adam expressed his idea.
„That's nice of you, but I think I should be the one giving her gifts," Robin told him, „I'm the one who made her angry, after all."
„Well, I think it's a sign to behave better in school," Brad said.

The next lesson was English conversation.
When our teacher, Mr. Reed entered the classroom, Maggie smiled.
„I have tea!" she told him, happily.
He sat at the desk infront of her and looked at her.
„Spill!" he laughed.
„Mrs. Hayes—"
„Oh, I heard her during the break. She said you're the naughtiest children she ever taught. I couldn't believe it."
„Well, Brad, Kyle and Robin giggled a lot during the lesson and she yelled at them to get out."
„That sounds pretty serious. I'll tell her something nice after the lesson to cheer her up. Now let's do some English exercises.
We did listening exercises for the rest of the lesson.

Becore I went home, I went to Mrs. King. I told her I won't be here on Friday, 24th of September, because I'll have a training for races. I saw Mrs. Hayes on the way to Mrs. King's office. She kept muttering something to herself. I felt bad for her.

I texted a few classmates after school: „I'm pretty sure she will not let us sit together from tomorrow on. Remember when she made us choose a paper with someone's name on it, and we had to sit with them for the next few months?"
Bianca replied a few minutes later: „Yup. It's almost certain she'll make make Brad sit as far away as possible from Kyle, so they won't be able to talk during lessons. She'll also separate Robert and Felix."
Lana sent a message, too: „Let's hope I won't have to sit next to Preston. I heard he likes to copy others' answers during exams."
Audrey also replied to me: „Yeah, you're right. But I think the boys will still find a way to talk even if they don't sit together. I remember Robert sent paper airplanes to Felix when they sat apart."

I'm excited for tomorrow, to be honest. I think Mrs. Hayes will not let us sit randomly anymore. When the boys misbehaved last year, she wrote everyone's name on a piece of paper and then she told someone to pick one paper (boys picked girls and girls picked boys). The person who got picked had to sit with the person who picked them for a few months during all lessons. I remember I picked Adam. It was nice sitting next to him. He's very kind and smart. I hope I'll be able to sit next to him if we'll have to pick the papers again. I'll need luck for that 😄

I'm trying to improve my writing style for this diary. I hope it's okay 😊 I hope you're all doing well! 😀
