The nine hours I spent at school today felt relatively short. The first period, which was math, was pretty normal. We did some equations, as usual. The second period was Czech. We talked about the history of our language.
„How do you call a thing, for example a style of art, that's very old fashioned?" Mrs. Hayes asked us.
„The thing we talked about yesterday in literature, I think it was anarchism," Brad answered.
„Wrong."
„Bruh, that's something else. It's called an archaism," Robin corrected him.
„Correct, Robin," Mrs. Hayes praised him.
I found that funny.
The third period was geography. We talked about the mountains in our country. We listened to songs of our own choice in the next period, which was, obviously, music :)
The remaining two periods were German and English. The German lesson was kind of normal. We read some German articles and practiced our reading yet again. It's safe to say we (our group) are getting much better at it :)
We played a game in the English lesson. Our teacher, Mr. Reed, gave us a paper with the explanation of the game and the rules as well. The game is kind of similar to Among us. Everyone grabs a card and the one who has Ace is the impostor. We can look at the card at the start of the game and then we 'go asleep' (just close our eyes). Everyone who is Ace (the max. number of impostors is two) open their eyes first and look at eachother. Then they close their eyes and another group with the same cards open their eyes and look around and see who has the same card. After every card group gets to know who they are with we all open our eyes. I'll write what each card means here down below;
Ace - impostor
King - is able to look at someone's card
Queen - can swap two cards, but without looking at them
Jack - look at the remaining cards, which weren't choosen by anyone at the start of the game
7 - They have no special ability, they're just innocent
2 - 'has no idea what's happening' (that's what our teacher said) and chooses a random card which wasn't choosen by anyone at the start of the game
8 - their job is to defend anyone who gets the most votes (for example say that they're in their group or something to make others change their mind and vote someone else), no matter which card the most voted person has
I don't think I'm very good at explaining, so I hope this makes atleast a little bit of sense :)
I was an Ace in the first game. Sarah was a 7, but since she kept talking and defending herself, everyone thought she was the Ace and voted her out. Too bad no one had the card 8, so no one except Sarah herself could defend her during this game. She got voted out and when she showed others her card, everyone gasped. I was silent the whole game and tried to act like I had the card 7, and when the time ran out, everyone was surprised I was the impostor.
I was the King the second game. I chose to look at Felix's card. He had the card 8. Everyone thought he was the impostor when he defended his friend, Robert, but Robert was actually just acting suspicious on purpose. He had the card 7. When the time ran out, we found out the impostor was Lana. The game is very fun.
We had pork with potato salad for lunch. I think that's all for today :) I hope you're doing well 😊 I'm excited for tomorrow! 😀

AcakI will write about my 9th year of elementary school here. I'll try to add a chapter every day, kind of like a virtual diary ✏️
