Y/n's POV

I entered the shop and looked around to see where everything was. I then went to an aisle with teen-books. I touched every book with the tip of my finger whilst walking down the aisle. I came to a stop when I bumped in to a window. I looked around to see if anyone saw and exhaled in relief. I searched for a book in about ten minutes.

-Do you need some help? You have been standing her for ten minutes without taking out a book? A boy asked.

He was tall and pretty muscular. He had those dark eyes with a dirty blond, fluffy hair. I looked at his clothes and I assumed that he worked at the shop.

-And is your head ok? He added.

What the hell. I thought no one saw me.

-Yeah I am fine, it's just hard to find a good book. I said in embarrassment.

-Want any help, I get paid for it.
-I am.. actually yes I need help.

He looked at the books and selected three. He showed me one and then the other and third and told me a little backstory for all of them.

-I'll go with the third one, I said.
-Ready to pay? And you can also give it back if you don't like it, just don't lose the receipt, he smiled.

-Yeah Yeah, I smiled back shyly.

I followed him to the checkout. He stood behind the counter and scanned the book. If I am being honest he was soooooo cuteeeee. Ahh just his eyes and everything about him *chefs kiss*.
Meanwhile I looked at my phone to find Louis calling me. I was about to answer when I saw the boy looking at me.

-What? I asked.
-Are you ok? You are red... He smirked.

He totally saw me when I was daydreaming about him.

-I'm fine it's just very very hot, I smirked back.
-Aww you are getting red too. I said.

He chuckled and went back to pressing buttons on a screen.

Louis had stopped calling me and my attention went to the boy. He started writing something on the receipt.

-What are you writing?
-You'll find out later.

I payed with my credit card and he handed me the book.

-Thank you for shopping here, he said with his attractive voice and winked.

I quickly looked at his name tag and found out his name.

-See you later Adrien.

I walked out of the store and bumped into something again smh.

-Why didn't you answer me?
-Oh Louis, yeah I was kinda busy.
-With what?

I couldn't lie to Louis and also nothing even happened, me and Louis are not even together so why am I worried.

- I was talking with Ad- the cashier.

We started to walk.

-Mhmmm is he more important that me, he gave me the puppy eyes in sarcasm.

-I couldn't stop our conversation,  after all I live with you and talk to you all the time.

-What book did you get?
-Uhm this one, I hope it's good.

-What are u even doing here? I asked.
-I got a little bored.

He looked down at the grown, I knew something was wrong.

-Come on what is it?

I stopped walking. He noticed it and turned back. I walked towards him and I held his chin up, so he looked at me.

I shook my head and gave him a serious look.

-Nothing, now can we do something fun, he got all exited.

-As you wish my prince.

I dragged him to a cafeteria a few meters from us. We ordered some coffee and a cinnamon bun to share.

-Why did you come here?
-What do you mean? He chewed on a piece.

-Did something happen?
-No, he looked down again.

-You are really bad at lying you know Partridge.
-Linda and her new boyfriend.
-The one she cheated with?
-Yup.

-What's the matter then love? Do you still like her?

I am just going to wish that he says no, I know she will hurt him again, but also that I like and care about him, if he says yes then I get to pray every night that she isn't with somebody else.

-No.

What a relief.

-He was a very good friend of mine.
-I'm sorry, really sorry.

-Yeah Yeah I am just a little disappointed.

-What do you think will help? I kinda sounded like a therapist but whatever, just to make him feel better.

-I don't know.
-Ok, just think about it ok sweetheart. I smiled.

We laughed and I gave him a warm hug.

We got home and we watched a movie together.
