My eyes drift around the room until they land on Will. He's curled up on a chair in the corner with a book in his hand. I gnash my teeth together when that damn word pops into my head again; cute. Will Jackson is so fucking cute and I find that so annoying. His eyes look up landing on mine and I can't help the way mine soften. He pauses watching me for a few seconds before his cheeks tinge and his eyes flicker back down to his book. I feel a smirk pull at my lips but I don't let it grow.

Gage nods at Hank "So what are you thinking for a movie?"

Hank grins and deadpans instantly  "Horror"

I roll my eyes Hank has been on a horror movie kick since I took him to watch IT. I seriously wonder if something is wrong with this kid on a daily basis, but if he's not drinking like Shawn I consider it a win. So horror it is.

Gage shrugs "Okay"

Will makes a small sound behind us and I turn around to find him looking at us wide-eyed. He's started to fiddle with the pages of his book anxiously and I lift a brow confused. I know I make him anxious...but he was fine two minutes ago. He ducks his head back behind his book. I turn to Gage, but he doesn't seem to have noticed and is instead scrolling through the horror movies with Hank. They settle on Nightmare on Elm Street and Gage turns to Will.

"Yo Will! You staying for the movie?"

Will shrugs, but he looks uncomfortable and I try to catch his eye lifting a brow. Gage chuckles turning to Hank and I.

"Will doesn't do well with scary movies"

I look back at Will whose cheeks tinge pink, but he doesn't try to argue Gage's words. That must be why he's so nervous. I didn't know Will was scared of scary movies.

"You ok to watch this shit?"

My voice comes out gruffer than I intended and immediately I'm apologetic because I don't want Will to be scared of me. He however doesn't get a chance to answer because Gage speaks for him.

"He's fine, it's about time he gets over his fear"

I grit my teeth because Gage can be tough on the guys on the team and I'm sure he extends the same to Will. Not that, that is a bad thing, but when Will is really anxious he looks like he does now; like he's going to throw up. Instead of arguing I just sigh and turn to Hank telling him to change into his pj's and set up where he's sleeping because he has school in the morning so after the movie he has to go right to bed, to which he immediately complains but does as I ask. I sit down on the couch and Gage plays the movie, Will doesn't come over to watch the movie but stays on the chair with his book. I have to resist turning around and checking on him every few minutes. Hank is actually quiet for most of the movie just the occasional comment or quick banter with Gage. I take a few brief glances at Will and each time he looks like he's hiding behind his book and sinking deeper into his chair. We're just over halfway done the movie when Will squeaks behind us and Gage laughs.

 "You good?"

I turn just as Will is standing "I-I'm gonna go!"

Gage nods chuckling "Go ahead, you stayed pretty long Will good job"
