what happens after

when we start

weeks after their day with Fred, both men took a long talk about the topic as in contacting foster care homes, contacting adoption centres and even thinking of a way of telling the rest of the family about their newest update on them, and here we are... are the Gallaghers home.

"so, this must be important since we haven't called Gallagher meeting in quite a while..." lip glares as he lays back on the wooden chair as a beer settled in his hand while Tami grips onto the rail of the chair "maybe they are getting a divorce" a smirk appears on her face, "wouldn't be surprised" Debbie giggles as she walks down the staircase to the fridge to grab out a cold freezing bridge. "it's quite the opposite" Ian frowns as his eyes roll back to as if he could see the back of his head "Me and mickey... we were thinking of.." Ian stopped as carl walked out of the toilet pulling up his dirty sweatpants "you stink!" Liam says in disgust as his feet sit on the table while his back is leaned back on the wooden chair with his hands attached to his iPad, carl rolls his eyes as he flips Liam off. "alright, shut the fuck up this is serious, won't shut up? ill fucking make you." mickey scold "alright go on, bridezilla" lip chuckles as he puts his hands up in surrender "thank fucking god..." mickey crosses his arms as he frowns, ians eyes tilt to the side to see mickey "alright..." ian clears his throat before letting out another word "well mickey and I have spent time, a very long time, on our future-" mickey pushes ian behind as ian trembles backwards "we want to start a family" 

Liam looks up from the screen "but you already have a family? us?" Liam says in a dopey expression "not that Liam.. they want.." lip grits his teeth together "we are considering kids" ian sighs as everyone has their mouths dropped open apart from... well carl, "but you guys are dudes" everyone eyes carl as if they had just met the dumbest person on earth which technically they have. 

"it's called adoptive kids, whereas you know, kids whose parents have died or abandoned so people put them up in foster homes, but if someone doesn't want their kid anymore they would put them up for adoption- so then someone else could have them." Liam explains as the silence had been broke "don't worry, though, we aren't going that fast, mickey wants to start slow and just get some foster kids to take care of for a while and see what happens..." ian wraps his arm around mickey pulling himself close to the older man. "we have looked through sites aswell, and I think we are on a good track, we are having an inspector to see if our place is safe for a child to stay around" ian smiles with pride in his voice "what about age? what age are you looking for.." Debbie sighs as Franny runs up to sit in Debbie's lap "is uncle ian and uncle mickey having babies?" Franny giggles "close sweetie" Debbie chuckles playing with frannys little fingers.

"well.. we were planning on doing the age range as just a child, around 6-9 since they will know what's happening, and then, we can handle school and be ready for older years, but as long as it's a kid I'm happy.." a smile appears on ians face as his hand hovers over mickeys as their fingers interlock. "and I think me and mickey.. are ready for this." ian leaves a kiss on mickeys cheek, sighs filled up the room "I mean... I'm proud of you, it's definitely gonna feel weird having to see you with kids..." lip mumbles "we have it all covered, we practised with Fred and he had an amazing time!" ian smiles.

"well we are all proud of you guys for making this move in your life, hopefully, it goes well." Debbie snarls...

An hour later after the "Gallagher meeting" everyone watched up, mickey was talking about his job while ian was talking about what sites he had been visiting and some kids they've checked out lately aswell as Liam was interacting with everyone and not having his eyes glued to the glowing screen in his small fragile hands, Tami and Debbie were talking about putting Fred into a day care system with Franny and all ian and mickey had to do now since the whole family knew, was tell Fiona and steve... and let's not forget our favourites, Veronica and Kev.

after after that hour of the most iconic family in the southside, even if split up and moved they still held a powerful place in the most shittiest family chart... the two men had exited the house as they were halfway to walking to the L.

"later in the week ill make some calls with Fiona and veronica and notify them about the news, I think they will love to hear about what we will have to say..." ian turns to face mickey whose hand was placed in his, as he noticed mickey gazing in the sky, "mick?" ian calls out to bring mickeys attention to him, mickey snaps out of his little day dreaming as looks over to ian. "are you ok? I know this..." ian was shut up by mickey as mickey pulls ian into a sudden kiss as he gropes onto ians neck while ians hands run down his waist to later caress the side of mickeys face.

"what was that for?" as ian pulls away as a little smile appears on his face "to shut you the fuck up." mickey rolls his eyes as he pulls out his box of cigarettes which were sat in his pocket the whole time, as he lights it up taking a long dread from it, he blows some smoke out as he looks over to ian to nudge his shoulder lightly.

"Just wanna know when we start"

fwergghg honestly its safe to admit i like my fluff chapters :) i think its really cute to see ian and mickey to act like this, i miss them sm, so expect me to update daily (sorta unless I'm writing a long chapter)

i have a sort out timetable on my new upcoming chapters, I'm planning on having the next chapter not about the whole baby thing, maybe some smut (haven't written it in a while) aswell as a couple baby chapters on them telling fiona and V.

so here's whats gonna happen (unless i change my mind AND whats gonna be named is gonna also be in order ) - 

- mickeys jealous ( i will be making this fluff / smut and might try make this a long chapter, although im pretty sure it will end up being short! ill try my bets tho )

- telling fiona ( short chapter, fluff? )

- telling veronica ( short chapter, fluff )

- LOOKING FOR A BABY OR CHILD ( most likely child so pls come up with name ideas in the comments!! and this will be fluff )

- smut ( idk what the idea will be based off but it will be smut )

- angst ( sad chapter !! need ideas!! )
