what happens after

sickness and in health

based on that one scene when ian ran away and came home and called mickey but mickey didn't answer and then he came to ian at the end of the episode and said "sorry im late"

Ian lied in bed, he has a sick feeling in his stomach as if he just couldn't move... his knees met his chest as the side of his face pressed against the warm pillow, the Gallaghers were out for dinner celebrating Debbie getting a promotion in her job and his lover, mickey, had been out working all day so ian was stuck at home having his face attached to his phone. swiping through photos of his friends out and about, photos of the Gallaghers and just random posts which popped up on his page.

mickey knew ian was sick, he told him just to lay in bed and drink some water along with some snacks, he didn't want to look further into it so he didn't bother seeing a doctor, he just thought it was a classic stomach ache. 

ian grunts as he tried his best to get steady on his feet and walk to the bathroom without knocking things over, once he made it to the bathroom he had taken the toilet and flushed and began washing his hands, he felt like running back to the toilets just to vomit. he begged mickey to take the day off to take care of him but mickey refused and said he could try to take an early leave.

he made his way back to his bed and just lied there, phone on the nightstand and face turned towards to windows, a breeze hit his face "mick..." ian grabs the pillow next to him and cuddles it, he was hoping mickey found a way to get out of work early.

ian slept in bed, as a certain someone entered the doors... mickey walked through the doors and placed down his things on the kitchen counter, he was curious to see what ian was up to... hoping he didn't leave the house and go out for a beer yet when mickey walked down to their bedroom to get changed out of his ragged clothing, he saw his husband laying on his side of the bed, mickeys pillow trapped in ians cuddling. 

he chuckled and took off his jacket along with his iconic brown boots, ian slightly woke up "mickey?" ian rubbed his eyes, mickey slipt into bed with ian and cuddles him form behind, taking in the big spoon role. "sorry im late" ian smiles to hear mickeys voice "did you take your pills?"

"no"

"But you have to"

ian rolls his eyes "I don't feel like it mick, ill take them when I feel better, just lay here with me for a bit" ian grins "fine, promise?" mickey nuzzles his nose into mickeys neck "stop being a bitch, I promise" ian kisses mickeys hand and falls back to sleep.
