High school revolves around what you want to be when you are older. At the age of 15 you are asked what job you want to do for the rest of your life. You are forced to make a decision that will affect the rest of your life. A time when all you want to think about is party's, boys, girls, and how to get a little more cash so you can buy the new pair of shoes everyone's been wearing.
Now high school is just a vivid memory. A time in my life that doesn't matter much. All the party's, trying to get in with the popular crowd, the sneaking out, the drugs and alcohol, they all mean nothing. They were purely a rough pit stop to the final destination.
University is when you really have to get your shit together. It defines peoples worth. People will ask what school you went to before they will get to know you. You are judged whether you were Ivey league or a community collage. Who knew how much money you had to get you into a good school and how hard you studied would define how people perceive you.
You really grow up in university. You learn from your mistakes. You change, physically and emotionally. Most of the time its a good change. You learn to grow up, become independent and mold into the person you were destined to be. It sets you up for the rest of your life.
You really have to focus on everything because now you have no parents telling you to do your homework, not to go to that party, to buy groceries, and to not associate with that crowed. Your on your own.
In high school, heck, even my first couple years of university, I would never have guessed that one single introduction would change my life forever. I had no idea on what would happen next.

Authors note:
So I'm just getting back into writing and I hope it doesn't suck too much. It's always hard trying to start a story. I hope it didn't flop. Anyways, it gets better, I promise.. Thanks<3
