The Scenery of Waves:
"Anong strand ang kukunin mo Solen?" Coleen asked.
Abm was actually the strand that i want to take in the first place because it's my dream to become a flight attendant, it was just my dad who disagree.
Echuserang frog ka, 'wag ako!" she uttered.
We're friends since junior highschool and nasanay nalang kami na laging magkakasama dahil lagi rin naman kaming magkakaklase, consistent with honors and laging nasa star section. We believe that grade doesn't define our futures but making ourselve proud is one of our goals, like other students we are also enjoying our highschool life, we're having fun, doing something embarrassing, and making friends but as a youth we would like to encourage other students to take their responsibilities because we can enjoy things while pursuing our dreams. Hindi pwedeng palagi lang tayong nagpapakasaya, we also need some progress in life.
Coleen rolled her eyes sarcastically.
"Solen, ex mo yun oh!" she point her finger at my back.
"tigilan n'yo ako." naglakad nalang ako at iniwan na sila, syempre hahabol ang mga yan, they are my dogs kaya.
1 month left and we're finally graduated as junior high, i know that we're going to have a lot of activities for this month. Hindi 'ko alam kung pa'no 'ko ieexplain sakanila na i'm not going to take tourism in college because for sure magagalit na naman sila kay dad for pushing me into business.
"So... have you already decided what strand are you gonna take in senior high?" my dad asked.
"Abm dad!" i smiled, still hoping na he would agree on what i want.
"That's good dear, take business management in College, it would be better for you kung ako ang laging masusunod" he put his hand above my head.
"w-what?! I already told you dad, i wanna take tourism in college! why are you being like that?!" i was so mad because he can't even understand what dream really is for me.
"you're going to pursue business, okay, listen Solana. You are going to take BS management whether you like it or not" he uttered. "besides, that's what your mom and i likes you to become.
We already have business, you can be the Ceo of our company, what else do you want huh?" he raised his brow."I want y'all to understand my part, because dad since growing up you became my boss, you became my dream planner, everything. Dad, ikaw lahat yung nasunod!" i shouted before running inside my room and locking the door.
Seriously? is he really that desperate? what about me? the things that i love? my dream? ganun ganun nalang yun para sakan'ya na sirain yung pangarap na gustong-gusto kong makamit?
