One Door Closes.

Taylor had settled into the safehouse really nicely and was now on video call with Skye and Simmons.

"It's a little weird here. I'm settling in. I've played a couple dozen games of solitaire. Well, that's until Taylor showed up." Skye told her. Simmons gives a weak chuckle.

"Well, May will head there soon so don't give up on solitaire just yet." Jemma joked.

"And how do we have to thanks for the Little Debbie snack cakes?" Taylor asked.

"That was Coulson's idea. But I did pick you out some nice gluten free biscuits." Simmons smiles, pleased with herself.

"Ah, yeah, we'll–we'll look out for those." No, they don't think they will.

"Have you two tried on the gloves yet?" Jemma asked.

"I have not, but we–we will." Taylor assured.

"Well, when you're feeling up to it, it might be worth giving them a go. They're obviously just a prototype but they're laced with a microthread I designed which should accelerate your healing and dampen the vibrations." She starts. "As for you Taylor, the gloves might feel a little cold at first but that's just to counter your powers. We've come to the conclusion that you're pyrokinetic." Taylor nods at the conclusion. "I just want you two to be safe. You know that, right?"

"We do. It means a lot, Jemma. Thank you." Skye told her. Simmons gives them a smile.

"Okay, then. Call me if either of you need anything." Simmons replied.

"We will." Taylor assured. Skye waves to the camera.

"Bye." Skye says then Simmons cuts the feed. "So, what's next?" Taylor shrugged. "Gossip?" They laugh together, only needing one another.

Skye tends to the fire in the fireplace. She stops messing with the fire as her eyes travel to the gloves sitting on a desk in front of her. She walks to the gloves and picks one up, turning it over looking at it. She pulls up one of her sleeves, with a hiss of pain, and Taylor can see the many bruises using her powers caused on her arms. She presses on some of the bruises and once again hisses with pain, then pulls on one of the gloves. She groans as it goes on and lets out a little sigh once it's in place. She pulls on the other glove then looks down at her arms. A blue light appears on the gloves then flashes down the length of them. She holds on to the edge of the chair and sags back a little. Taylor does the same, she leans on the table for support.

"Whoa." Taylor goes and sits at the computer and hits some buttons so she can connect with The Playground. A message appears on the screen, 'Connection Lost.' She hits another button, but nothing happens so Skye picks up her phone. They hear the phone ring then they hear Simmons' voicemail.

"Hello, this is Jemma Simmons. Please leave a message." The voicemail answered.

"Hey, Jemma. It's me. Um, can you call me back? We–we put the gloves on, but, uh, are they supposed to make you feel woozy?" While she leaves her message Taylor stands up from the chair and looks at the connections at the back of the computer. While Skye continues to leave her message, Taylor follows the wires leading out of the computer. "Maybe that's just a side effect. Also, are they supposed to be this tight?" Taylor appears laying on the ground checking out the wires for herself, she sees where they are fed into the wall. "I'm not complaining, I'm just wondering. Anyway, call me back when you can. Okay, bye." She hangs up the phone, putting it back on the desk as Taylor looks at the spot in the wall where the wire ends. She taps on the wooden wall but hears a metallic clicking sound with her taps. She gets to her knees looking at the wall with curiosity. She gets to her knees and continues to knock on the wall. The first spot she knocks sounds like wood. Taylor continues to knock until she finds an opening in one of the panels in the wall. She finds a letter opener and puts it between the slats then pries the piece of wood away from the wall. Behind the panel of wood is a hexagon shape made from metal, the same honeycomb material that makes up the holding cell on The Bus. Skye helps take off a panel of wood above the one Taylor's already removed, there's another hexagon but this one has a large fist print embedded in it. "Whoa."
