Who you Really Are.

Taylor wakes up sore from the night before. She turns to her side to see Mack lying awake next to her. She smiled at the memories from last night.

"Morning." He says first.

"Morning." She replies. He just stares at the ceiling. "What you thinking about?"

"Nothing much." He lies.

"Really, because I know you M." She moves closer to him. "I'd bet I could get it out of you though." She says, kissing down his neck. He laughs and flips them over, kissing her. She laughs as well. She pulled away before it got too heated. "As much as I'd love to go for round 2. We've got inventory with Coulson." Mack ignores her, kissing down her neck. "M."

"Coulson can wait." He tells her. She shakes her head, biting her lip trying not to enjoy it.

"Do you want to tell him that?" She asks. He groans and climbs off her. She laughs and kisses him again.

Coulson opens some storage lockers looking in with Mack and Taylor behind him.

"The last Stark copper jackets." Mack tells them. Taylor shivers slightly at the bad memory of the prototypes for the vests.

"I'll make sure Hill puts them on the list." Coulson closes the cabinet and turns to look at Mack. "Anything else?" They are in Mack's workshop; Coulson has a tablet in his hand and is opening things looking in.

"Sir, we can handle inventory ourselves. And I hope this isn't about my reaction after–" Mack started. Coulson turns to look at him.

"No, I told you, we're fine." Coulson assured him. He turns and looks in the case he has opened. "After Puerto Rico we need to take stock. What happened out there was–" Mack suddenly looks uncomfortable.

"Yeah, I don't like thinking about that." He says. Taylor says nothing but rubs his back, comforting him.

"I don't blame you, but I have been thinking about it, and I realised I've been wasting your talents." He closes the case and turns to look at Mack again.

"Sir?" Mack asked.

"Look, I know you prefer it under the hood of a car, but...I could really use you out in the field. You're a force to be reckoned with, Mack. Believe me." Coulson told him.

"Okay, but violence isn't really my thing. You know that alien crap made me into something I'm not." He reminded.

"We know. But have you seen yourself? You're a little bit of a beast all the time." Taylor added. May speaks from behind them and Coulson turns to look at her. When he does this, Mack gives her a look she knows all too well. She just smiles and playfully rolls her eyes.

"A blue dot operative in Portugal phoned in. You should hear what he has to say." May says. He turns back to Mack.

"Looks like you're starting now." Coulson told him.

"Oh, you'll want everyone on The Bus for this." May informed.

The team arrived in Faro, Portugal. Coulson and May decided to investigate first. Leaving the team on the plane. Taylor was sitting in her bunk looking at old photos when there was a knock on her bunk door. She slid the photos under her pillow and sat facing the door.

"Come in." She said. The door slid open, and Mack entered, closing the door behind him. He sat next to her.

"We need to talk." He told her. She internally groaned.

"I wouldn't've pinned you as a 'we need to talk' kind of guy, M." She laughed.

"I'm not normally but I wanted to ask what we were." He confessed. "What is this T?" He pointed between them.

"I don't know M. I'll be whatever you want me to be." She smiled. She knew it might've been a bit soon but she, one: needed to get Ward out of her head, preferably forever and two: it's always been Mack. They work and she knows he's not the type of guy to hide anything from her. Or so she thought.
