The Dirty Half Dozen.

On the Quinjet Fitz is at the computer, Ward flying the plane with Kara in the cockpit with him. Fitz stands up from the computer, walks over to Hunter and Taylor and sits down beside them, cutting short their conversation.

"How you feeling?" Fitz asks Hunter.

"Nauseous." Hunter replies.

"Mm. You want me to get–" Taylor starts and points down at his bullet wound and Hunter gets what he's talking about.

"Oh, no, not from getting shot. That's nothing." He looks toward the cockpit where Ward is on the stick, and Kara is in the passenger seat, laughing together. "It's those two. I think they actually...like each other."

"Just, um, just focus on your wound. It'll be less unsettling." Fitz suggests. Taylor turns back to Hunter about to say something until Ward calls her name. She groans and walks over to the cockpit.

"Yeah?"

"Can you take the stick? I need to make a phone call." He asks.

"Sure. Whatever." Taylor says, stepping to the side letting him out. As Taylor climbs in, Kara gives Ward a look.

"Thanks Tay. I'll be back in a minute." He aimed the last bit at Kara. As he walks away, the silence between the girls starts to annoy Taylor so she speaks up.

"I wanted to thank you Kara." She started. Kara just looked at her confused. "For patching up Ward after Puerto Rico. You could've ignored me and left him, but you didn't. Just do me a favour, yeah?" Kara nodded. "Don't break him. He's been broken too many times before. I'd hate to see it happen again."

"I wouldn't dream of it." Kara smiled. Taylor nodded, satisfied. "I owe you an apology Taylor." It was Taylor's turn to look confused. "I judged you too quickly. You're not so bad after all. So, I'm sorry."

"Don't worry about it. You're not so bad yourself." Taylor concluded as Ward came back over. Both girls looked up at him, waiting for him to speak.

"You two seem happy. What happened? Who'd you kill?" He half joked. The girls laughed a little.

"We settled our differences." Taylor stated.

"Well, not so differences. Thinking about it, we're not that different after all." Kara commented.

"It only took us this long." Taylor added, chuckling. Ward chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Yeah. Um, Kara, Fitz said he could use your help with something." Ward finally spat out.

"Oh okay." She replied, getting out of the co-pilot's seat and over to help Fitz. As Ward replaced her, Taylor heard Hunter scoff. Ward smirked at this.

"You two have never managed to get along, have you?" Taylor asked.

"Well, he's British." Grant stated.

"I'm British." Taylor reminded.

"Yeah, but you're good British." He replied.

"Good British?" Taylor asked.

"Yeah. Good British." He repeated. Taylor shook her head.

"You're just talking out your ass now." Taylor said with a chuckle. Grant laughed at this. After the laughter died down, Ward spoke up.

"I'm sorry Tay." He apologised out of the blue.

"What? Grant what are you-"

"I just feel really bad, you know. I need to apologise to you more than everyone else. I ruined everything between us." He started. "And even though through that I found someone amazing," Taylor's jaw clenched at this. "I can't stop thinking about how much you must hate me for everything I did to you and-"
