"Does it go as planned?"

"Yes uncle"

"Good, and you remember what I told you, do you?"

" 'Don't get caught in a fantasy that will distract me from our goal' "

"Exactly, things don't have to be more complicated than it should. Now off you go, and make me proud."

It's early in the morning, and the sunrise stared to shine thru the windows of the castle. Me, the golden guard, walked alone through the empty hallways, hearing my footsteps echoing as I walk outside. The cold breeze hit me, making my cloak lift. I sighed heavily, seeing my warm breath in the cold weather.

I'm lying to both of them. Both my own uncle and my friend. It is so obvious that I should be by the side of my uncle. But this nagging feeling in my chest tells me otherwise.

I put on the golden mask and went my way to my mission.

{Your pov}

Hunter's room was empty, well almost. Rascal was still there and welcomed me with a chirp.
As I walked inside, I saw a dark cloak laying on his bed with a note on the side. I picked up the dark cloak and putted it on, it matched my outfit and had the perfect length to my ankles. I picked up the note:

' Dear Y/N, I am on my way for a mission and will not come back until later at noon.

There was a big protest in the town Bonesborough yesterday, many of them are hurt from our guards defenses. Take Rascal and the cloak with you, they need you.

P.S , running away and hide from the emperor is dangerous, there for, don't.
I will look for you when my mission is complete.

- The Golden Guard, Hunter '

Rascal then flew to me and turned into a staff. I took it and prepared myself to fly out the window, literally, again.

I sat myself and tried to remember what Hunter said. I putted my hands close to me and flew slowly out. I didn't dare to look down so I just dragged my hands higher up the staff and went my way to the very familiar town.

I tried to fly as close to the ground as possible, but it was useless for all the trees. I ended up myself stuck in a tree and saw the town in front of me. Rascal turned back to their adorable selfs and looked at me confused as I were stuck with my new cloak.

I got down and Rascal flew to sit in my hood. I walked into town and could not believe what I saw. There was burned marks across the buildings and trash pretty much everywhere. People were coughing and I walked up to them to help.

*Time skip*

Probably an hour have past and I have helped many of the creatures and witches. Even other witches have seen me helping and decided to clean up the trash and other things.
I finished helping the last one and suddenly felt water splashing behind me. A witch had drawn two strange symbols on the burned wall behind me, and the symbols made water that cleaned it.
I looked over to the witch.

"Luz?" I asked. The witch looked back at me and smiled.

"Y/N!" Luz said and came closer to hug me.

"What did you do to the wall?" I asked her.

"Oh, I just use these fire and ice glyphs to form water" Luz simply answered. I didn't understand a thing, and she could see that in my face.

"Come with me and I will show you" Luz said with a smile. I looked back at the town and saw that everything would be okey for now. I turned back to Luz and nodded. She then took my hand and seated us on a owl staff. We flew away and I of course held myself on to her.
