The wind struck through the trees of the Boiling Isles with an ice cold aftertaste. You could almost see the smoke of spells and weapons all around the castle, a war is about to begin. But, who can really say when the war starts, when the beginning is 'give up and give in'.

(Y/N's POV)

"There! By the gate!" One of the guards exclaimed, pointing his coven staff to the entrance. Through the rough mist appeared a dark shadow, with both of their hands on each side of its head. Their cloak float with the wind like a flying bat.The one and only, Hunter, the Golden Guard.

Steve and I watched from afar when Hunter approached the castle doors. I hope with all my might that he knows what he is doing.
My hands fidgets, fingers tangled up to each other as I see coven scouts take Hunter in. I feel my chest vibrate as my lungs try to take in the cold air. I then feel a calm hand on my upper back, Steves hand of course.

"That is our cue, lets go" Steve says while picking up Flapjack. Steve gives him to me as he turns to a staff, I take a stressful and strong grip.

"I... I can't, I can't do this Steve I, I need to be with Hunter! He'll get hurt and-" I anxiously confess.
"Look I'm worried too, but lets give him our trust. We need to get in there and save your friends" Steves says and sits at the back of the staff. I close my eyes and take deep breaths, shaky breaths.

"Okay, lets go"

I hold on to the staff as Hunter have shown and fly us precisely by the walls in order not to get caught by any guards. We reached to Hunters window, but it is locked.

"I'll try open it!" Steve whispered and let him try. He tries to push the window open, doesn't work, kick it with his legs, still nothing. I thought if anyone could break down a window, it would have been Steve.

"It wont budge, I'm too weak for my full force" He explained, holding one of his hands on his chest. I back up so I'm in front of the window.
I raise my hand and make an explosion to the window, which breaks immediately.
"Well I didn't know you could do that.." Steve said surprisingly. We climb inside the room and see the mess the whole room was. Closet open and clothes were spread across the floor, and all the books opened and all over the place, except the books about wild magic, they were either taken away or burned to the ground. That would explain the burn marks on the wooden floors.
I go to the door, leaning my ear to it.

"I don't hear any guards outside" I say as I take Flapjack back to original form. "But we should probably hurry, I don't know how many guards heard my explosion". Steve nods confidently and we sneak outside the empty corridor.
We go down the stairs but as we almost hit bottom row, guards and scouts were seen guarding the hallways, probably in order to transfer Luz and the others.

"YO MARK! You wont believe this! The Golden Guard is turning himself in, he is in the castle!" A scout yelled from another hallway. All the other guards ran their way to the other end to see he glimpse of Hunter, leaving us the opportunity to sneak the other way.

"Do you know where the others are right now?" I asked.

"On their way to the main hall, we might get them in time" Steve answered as we started sprinting. I got ready with my hands for explosions if security were still on their marks.

It feels wrong in some sort of way. I started as a healing witch, helping everyone I know. I was helping so many magical creatures and people without even consider the consequences I might had get. Then this all happened, I put myself into danger, Hunter, my dad and all my other friends too...
I even could have saved my mom, if I only knew...
But I couldn't have known. I couldn't have known that it all ended up like this, how would I known that my friends and family would get hurt.
Belos and his coven scouts are the real bad guys for hurting us.
