Following Yuyuko, she occupied me with questions regarding the things that happened to me from the moment I was abducted this morning to eventually reaching here and she kept on insisting for me to tell her everything since she considered it interesting and she kept this up until we eventually reached a large tree that was devoid of all leafs or pallets.

"We're here." Yuyuko said with a weakened smile as she looked up at the tree. "It's surprising how quickly time flies by, once this was said to be a blossoming tree like none other and now it's been reduced to being a shell of it's former self." Yuyuko reminiscence as she reached her hand out towards the tree before stopping short as her hand was inches away from the tree all the while I simply nodded since I wasn't sure what I was suppose to say.

Yuyuko:"Ah, sorry. I got carried away for a moment."

Y/N:"So what did you want to talk about?"

Yuyuko:"Ah right, how could I forget."

Yuyuko then started glancing around for Youmu and sighed once she made sure that Youmu wasn't around to listen in on our conversation.

Yuyuko:"It's about my gardener."

Y/N:"Youmu?"

Yuyuko:"Yes. I'm concerned for her safety. Though she is strong in combat, I'm afraid she rarely spends time outside the Hakugyokurou which is slowly starting to affect her negatively."

Y/N:"And what do you mean by that exactly?"

Yuyuko:"I suppose I should elaborate more. Youmu rarely interacts with anyone unless it's someone who visits the Hakugyokurou or when she goes out to solve a incident but outside of that she only ever socialize with me and the spirits that fly about which makes her easy to manipulate mentally due to her limited interactions which I may or may not exploit at times when I'm feeling hungry."

I could see where this was going but I wasn't sure what I was suppose to do about it since I don't exactly know Youmu all that well outside of watching her fight with Alice and Reimu and that was about it.

Yuyuko:"She also won't hesitate to lie or even put her life on the line if it's for my sake like when I lied about Yukari going into hibernation and me visiting her which Youmu backed up knowing full well that Yukari only hibernates during winter."

Y/N:"Hold on, why are you telling me all this? And besides I think she must have known what would happen if she decided to tell the truth so I think that can be excused."

Yuyuko:"I heard of all the good deeds you have been doing since you arrived to Gensokyo. Saving villagers from a youkai in the village, protecting fairies from becoming youkai food and ending an incident peacefully so I wondered if it wouldn't be too much trouble for you to take Youmu to the world of the living and try to bring her back onto the right path."

Y/N:"I see but who told you all that?"

Yuyuko:"Yukari and I must say she has taken quite an interest in you since she just couldn't stop talking about you almost as if you were some lab rat of hers, it's kinda scary."

Y/N:"That explains a lot."

With all that said, I could tell that half of what Yuyuko said was a lie and she was hiding from me so I might as well ask her if there's more of a motive for her to be doing all this.

Y/N:"Is that all there really is to it because I can tell that your hiding something."

Yuyuko:"Well... It appears that you aren't as easy to deceive as I hoped you to be. The truth is ever since Youmu was invited to take part in the tournament she began training like never before to win the tournament in hopes of it being her first step to becoming better at swordsmanship but after her defeat at the hands of the hakurei shrine maiden, she has been beating herself none stop because of the missed opportunities in battle like avoiding the first ying yang orb that was shot at her rather than trying to slice it in half and other similar mishaps."
