It's been three days since Mima's release and things have finally calmed down with no sign of her showing up anywhere after what went down in the human village which Alice managed to cover up as some kind of forbidden scroll causing all that damage which believe it or not was a common thing that happened in the village thanks to a book rental shop that sold them for high prices so it was quickly shrugged off and forgotten about. Alice also decided to join the search for personal reasons which might have something to do with her being Mima's ex-maid.
Reimu also seemed to have fully recovered and was back to doing her usual thing without noticing anything unusual that has happened while she was sick which was a saving grace about this whole disaster catching us up to today, or this evening to be more specific as the sun slowly began setting. Walking up the mountain stairs to the shrine, I wanted to check up on Reimu like always as well as talk to Marisa since this is the only place I seem to ever find her in these days. Once I reached the top of the amount all I saw was bullets flying all over the place to which I wasted no time as I reached into my pocket to withdraw a random ability card, fearing the worst scenario being that the shrine was in the middle of being attacked.
Looking around I saw Reimu flying in the sky, navigating her way through the storm of bullets which were being fired by... Kasen? my worries were somewhat albeit not fully put to rest after watching what was happening for only a couple of seconds.
Reimu:"Do we really have to do this? I just finished cleaning."
Kasen:"You can't go on and continue avoiding training otherwise you'll never reach the full extent of your powers as a shrine maiden!"
Reimu:"I'm strong enough as I am, besides even if I ever loose again all I have to do is retry until I win."
Kasen:"That's exactly why you need to start training!"
Reimu was dodging all of Kasen's attack which in turn made the attacks more intense to a point where not even Reimu could keep up and was eventually overwhelmed by the attacks, flying down to the ground to catch a break.
Reimu:"Ugh... Can't you ever go easy on me?"
"Out of question, you'll never learn a thing if I don't start pushing you to your limits" Kasen doubled down as she reached the ground before taking a fighting stance which Reimu just sighed at before preparing for what would come next while I watched, seemingly unnoticed by neither of them though there was someone else who did notice me and that someone was Aunn whom was watching the fight anxiously up until now and I will admit I haven't seen her around for a long time so this could be the right time to catch up on things.
"Hey Aunn, everything ok. You look like you've seen a ghost." I said as I walked over to her to chat as well get a gist on what exactly was going on.
Aunn:"It's horrible mister Y/N, I tried stopping miss Kasen from forcing miss Reimu to face off against her but nobody would listen."
Y/N:"Calm down and explain exactly what's going on. Also did you just call me mister?"
Aunn:"Well after I heard that miss Reimu was sick, I was told to look after her and to not let her do anything stupid by miss Marisa and just this morning miss Reimu managed to fully recover and as soon as she came outside to tend to the shrine cleaning miss Kasen came to check on her before forcing her to train after hearing of miss Reimu getting sick from eating bad food yet again as a way to teach her a lesson not to do it ever again. As for the title of mister, do you not like being called mister?"
Y/N:"It sounds incredible weird so please never call me that again."
Aunn looked at me with puppy eyes, almost like a dog that knows full well that they did something bad and were sorry for it which somewhat took me off guard for a moment.
