"How did it come to this? None of this would have happened if you haven't panicked." I muttered to myself as I arrived at the human village. The village appeared to be packed with people like usual, the streets were cleared of all snow and nothing seemed out of the ordinary outside of a sudden yet odd feeling that I knew all too well at this point being the feeling of being watched washing over me but my mind was more focused on the past events from earlier today than what was going on around me right now.

I just wanted to forget this whole thing and move on but I couldn't, this wasn't something you could just brush off and forget. This needed to be directly taken care of but the question was how.

I couldn't just decide who I wanted to be with because on one side there's Reimu but on the other there's Marisa so picking wasn't going to be easy let alone telling them about this but it was better than trying to live a double life which is an option I don't even want to think about to begin with.

"Psst, Y/N. over here." a voice called out from behind me which made me snap out of my thoughts as I looked back to see a person with some kind of monk hat over their head carrying a large wooden box. For a moment I couldn't figure out who this was but after a giving it a little more time I began to slowly get the feeling that this was Reisen.

Y/N:"Reisen?"

Reisen:"You guessed it. So what are you up to?"

Y/N:"No clue, I just came to have a look around the village to kill some time so how about you?"

Reisen:"I'm delivering medicine around the village as per master's orders but I'm on a short break right now."

Y/N:"And that outfit is a disguise I'm guessing?"

Reisen:"Yeah and it's actually doing it's job pretty well. Not a single human figured out anything yet... Outside of you of course. Putting that aside, what did you think of the moon festival?"

Y/N:"To be honest, I didn't have a single problem and the events were actually kinda fun not counting me passing out at the end."

Reisen:"Speaking of you passing out, just where did you end up going? None of us could find you not too long after we brought you into Eientei."

"Oh, right w-well you see I remembered that I needed to help a friend with something so I ended up having to leave early." I said nervously before following it up with a nervous laugh with the hope that I could just laugh off my terrible lie. Up until now I didn't bother thinking about any kind of excuse for what actually happened to me after the festival with me being kidnapped and brought to the moon before escaping simply because nobody actually cared for an explanation up until now.

"Was it really that important that you ended up leaving in the middle of the night and into the forest of the lost drunk?" Reisen replied, pointing out the one major flaw in my lie.

Y/N:"Do you really want to know?"

Reisen:"You made me and master worry that something might have happened to you. Gladly Toyohime told us that she saw you go home so the least you can do now is explain what was so important with helping a friend with that you ended up leaving."

That explains why nobody seemed to care too much as to where I have been for the past couple of days and as much as I wanted to tell Reisen the truth about Toyohime and her twisted ideals, I couldn't so right now I needed to stay focused and think of a lie that will hold up.

Y/N:"W-Well..."

Crap. I was out of any more excuses but I needed to think of something fast otherwise Reisen will surely know that all of this is a bluff if I don't respond soon.
