"Welcome to your new life."

Those were the exact words that came out of the one winged youkai's mouth. The Watatsuki sisters seemed more than pleased to hear this all the while I was left with a blank expression before I finally snapped out of it with a shocked face.

???:"Now that you have been proven to be of use, it would be wise of me to introduce myself. My name is Sagume Kishin, a lunarian goddess in charge of certain divisions and other equally important tasks within the lunar capital."

Y/N:"Hold on! I don't want a new life, I want to keep my old life!"

Sagume:"I'm afraid that this is not a possibility anymore."

Y/N:"Huh, why?"

Sagume:"The decision was made, all of the other high rankings figures saw you as too valuable of a pawn, err... Soldier, to simply let go. That aside you have also proven your worth by living up to everything lady Yagokoro wrote about you in her documents."

Y/N:"No, I haven't proven anything. All I did was try to run away and that's about it."

Sagume:"Still oblivious to the truth? Then let me point out everything you have done since you have arrived here. Devising and executing a elaborate plan to escape prison which not that many have ever accomplished, avoided any guards that caught on to your jailbreak, managed to reach the sea of tranquility unnoticed and finally managed to best Watatsuki no Yorihime in combat which would be considered a near impossible task to do."

I hate to admit this seeing as how much praise she was giving me but nearly everything she just mentioned was basically far fetched since everything that actually happened was due to either dumb luck, accidents, basic thinking or something else that just about anyone was capable of pulling off.

Sagume:"There was another key factor in you being accepted to be apart of the lunar capital, your connection to the gap youkai, Yukari Yakumo as she is referred to by name."

Y/N:"Yukari? What does she have to do with all of this?"

Sagume:"She's attempted multiple attacks on the lunar capital that varied from stealing all the way up to starting war and now that we have someone with a stable connection to her, it gives us the upper hand to have her seize all future attempts to wreak havoc on the capital."

Y/N:"I literally don't know anything about her outside of her causing me trouble each time we meet so good luck using me as some kind of  ransom against that woman."

Sagume:"Oh I have ways of getting around to doing it."

Y/N:"Yeah I'm sure you do but just because I was approved to be some kind of pet animal doesn't mean that I will play along obediently and do anything you crazed people want me to do."

Sagume:"If it troubles you knowing that you still have a life back on that miserable impure shell of a planet that you call home then I could make an arrangement to have your memories wiped clean, the choice is yours and if it's your friends that you worry so much about then you can forget about them looking for you, they'll just give up after a week and forget all about you after a month's time, after all that's just how all impure beings act and besides they'll never think of looking for you on the moon."

She really thought of everything, there were no more counter arguments I could give simply because she had all of this planned in advance from how confident she sounded in the things she was saying.

Sagume:"If that is all then I will be taking my leave so I expect both of you to train him accordingly."

Toyohime:"We understand and will take full responsibility of him."
