You were just kneeling there, in front your lifeless mother, crying out all the pain that has been inside you since the first day of school. Diane was Hugging you, she was crying too. You and Diane were letting it all out.

But still, the pain is still there. It's now permanent. Nothing worked.

The were the only three closest people in your life, the ones who raised and teached you, the ones who treated you like a precious gem, the ones who were there for you always, the ones who made you happy, the ones who makes feel not alone, the ones who makes you feel loved, the ones who makes you feel special. . .

Were now gone.

You didn't care about your knees touching the freezing cold road until you got numb. All you care about was only letting all your tears come out of your body.

As soon as the ambulance, fire truck and the police arrived, Diane was being interviewed. Diane explained everything she saw.

She took a glance of you, you were sitting on the scooter parked on the side of the road, looking down on your necklace, holding the pendant tightly.

The trails of your tears were still there on your cheeks as they were frozen now.

Diane didn't know what to do, this happened all of a sudden.

She had no job anymore, her job was only to take care of you until you grow up.

Her savings wasn't enough for you and herself in a year. Even your parents' savings was only enough for you to pay the education fees until Senior Highschool only.

It will be her first time raising a kid all by herself from now on. It will be a really hard task for her but she loves the three of you. She has to fulfill her promise, for your future.

It's time for her to pay you back. The three of you made her happy. If your parents didn't found Diana while she's on her most depressing situation, You would be alone by now.

It's time for her to give her best to make you happy as long as possible.

But was it really possible?

Can she keep her promise until you grow up to be an independent man?

"Ma'am?"

"Ma'am?" The police officer interrupted her thoughts and shook her head at that sudden question in her mind.

"Yes?"

"Is there anything else you saw?"

"No, that's all."

"Ok ma'am." The police officer then went to the truck driver.

Diane looked at you again, you're still holding your necklace. She wanted to cry just by looking at your state, but she has to be strong for you.

She sighed.

She didn't want this to happen. But the fate lets it.

She went to you and puts her hand into your shoulder. You looked up to see her.
