Story Reroute: Distress II

I MADE A MISTAKE, I FORGOT THE ENTIRE PLOT. I CHANGED THE LAST PART OF THE CHAPTER ACCORDING TO THE PLOT.

"I'm gonna die either way, Jihyo-noona." You said as you stared through the window. "It's too late."

You smiled a little, which they found unexpected.

"But just by thinking of it, I feel like I'm gonna be free, and finally see them." You had lost your mind talking about your nearing death. You should've crying right now, but instead you were showing a hint of excitement.

Sometimes telling the truth makes one feels like shit.

"That feeling of having no pain at all, I want to experience it."

"(Y-YN)." A voice was suddenly heard.

They all turned around just to see Ryujin whose hands were shaking as she was gripping her handbag. She was nervous for what she did to you last night, she deeply regretted it.

She hurt you twice. No, she hurt you more than that. She chose her dream over you which it made you alone for years. She chose another over you, not realizing that there were still feelings left for you. She chose her emotions over your pain.

And now she was having this familiar feeling when everyone was staring at her, she thought it was her fault again.

"I'm sorry." She uttered as she lowered her head a little, you could tell that she was saying it from her heart.

But it felt like a sorry doesn't affect you anymore.

You weren't answering as she just stared at you.

"You know what..." Said you. "Every single day since my parents and Diane are gone, I was only clinging into their last words, hoping one day I'd make my dead loved ones proud, trying to stay strong as they advised me to. But I can't."

"And so I realized, what's the purpose of making my loved ones proud if they're buried ten feet deep anyway? How would you see their reactions and hear them, "I am proud of you, truly"." You added.

Ryujin couldn't hold back her tears anymore, you suffered two much... but she wanted to give it one more shot. She wanted you to give her a third chance, and you could tell it.

"Everyone, can you please give me and Ryujin a private talk?" You asked them.

They'd knew it wouldn't turn out well, but they hesitatingly, slowly, walk out of the room, one by one. As soon as they all got out, Ryujin ran to you immediately as she went for a tight embrace. She wanted to apologize as many times as she could, she was afraid since her relationship with you was in the toughest spot. She didn't want her relationship with you to be broken since she loved you.

She just cried loudly there, not saying anything.

You caressed her hair gently as you were hugging her back. "Don't say sorry. Don't say it's your fault. I did many things that risked our relationship."

But she didn't want to admit that it was your fault, she thought it was too much for you to carry the burden. You did something that she wouldn't accept, but at least she could've talk to you about it last night.
