Drunk Duo

A/N: I know I already updated this week but bonus update, yay! As I promised fluff so here you go. This one also includes Jily.

Although slight trigger warning because Sirius and James do get drunk. (I in no way condone underage drinking). 

It was the night after a successful match against Ravenclaw. Some sixth year had definitely spiked the punch because James and Sirius were currently discussing who would be the fastest swimmer in Animagus form.

"I'm a dog, and it is called a doggy paddle after all," Sirius argued.

"Okay, but I have longer legs so I could move farther," James pointed out.

"Maybe on land but it's different in the water," Sirius stated.

"Well, there's only one way to find out. Last one to the lake is a rotten egg!" James declared before taking off towards the black lake.

Sirius quickly followed in suit.

*time skip 5 minutes*

"Hey, Rem!" Lily called, walking up to where Remus was standing.

"Hey, Lil! What's up?" Remus asked.

"Do you know where James is?" Lily questioned.

"No and actually come to think of it, I haven't seen Sirius in a while either," Remus realized.

"Look, everyone! There's a deer and dog racing in the lake outside," a first year student shouted suddenly.

"Yeah right, stop messing around! I think this one had a little too much punch," one of the sixth years that had spiked the punch, yelled back.

"Come on, let's go," Remus whispered to Lily.

"Where are we going?" Lily inquired.

"Just follow me," Remus answered.

"No, you're going to tell me!" Lily demanded.

"Oh, come on! Just follow me" Remus insisted, losing his patience.

"Fine but you have to explain later," Lily caved, letting Remus drag her away.

Once the pair got down to the lake, they found a very soaked James laying next to an also soaked black dog.

"Oh my gosh, James! Are you okay?" Lily ran to James' side and transfigured a stick into a towel to wrap around the boy.

"I'm fine!" James laughed, accepting the towel.

"How are you doing, Pads?" Remus asked as he walked over to where Sirius was laying in dog form.

Sirius turned back to his human self and nuzzled himself into Remus.

"Holy crap! You're freezing," Remus gasped quickly, removing his jumper and putting it on his boyfriend.

"What were you boys even doing out here?" Lily integrated the boys.

"We were seeing who could swim the fastest as their Animagus," James explained.

"And I obviously won," Sirius bragged, resting his head on Remus' chest.

"Hey! It's not my fault deers can't swim!" James' protested.

"Our boyfriends are idiots," Remus tells Lily

"You didn't know that already?" Lily jokes.

"I knew it. I just never knew that they were this stupid," Remus confirms.

"Mmm, Mooony. I'm tired," Sirius whined, nuzzling his face further into the werewolf's chest.

"Okay, sleepyhead. Let's get you to the dorms," Remus said to Sirius, scooping up the sleepy boy.

"I'm going to take Sirius up. Goodnight," he informs Lily and James, before heading up to the dorms with his boyfriend in his arms.

"Night!" Lily called after the two boys, before turning towards James who was now trying to use a random stick to turn a rock into a cookie.

"Come on silly, let's get you to bed," Lily picked up James.

"But the cookie!" James complained, grabbing at the air in front of him.

"It's not a real cookie! Now if you could please walk," Lily said, losing her patience and starting to drag James.

James recently started walking back to the castle. Once they reached the castle they found Sirius cuddled up to Remus in bed. 

"I want to cuddle" James demanded, plopping down on the floor. 

"You have to get to bed James" Lily insisted, dragging James across the floor. 

"NO! I wanna cuddle!" James continued throwing a fit.

"James" Lily hissed losing her patience.

"CUDDLE!" James yelled causing Sirius to wake up. 

"What's happening?" Sirius asked, shifting in Remus' arms.

"Don't worry about it just try to go back to sleep" Remus said, stroking Sirius' cheek before placing a soft kiss on his forehead.

"Fine, we can cuddle but you have to get to bed first." Lily finally caved.

"Okay," James agreed standing up and walking to bed. 

The two couples fell asleep happily in each other's arms not a care in the world.
