Bryce quickly walked away back towards the rest of the group. They were all talking still, not noticing Bryce, Ambria, and Hudson were gone. Hudson obviously didn't see the glaces exchanged between Ambria and Bryce before he walked away.

He didn't even notice Bryce in the corner of his eye. He kept going on and on about something Ambria couldn't hear.

"We will talk about this later," Ambria said, running trying to catch up to Bryce to explain.

"Wait! I might not have any later!" Hudson yelled following Ambria out of the corner of the room.

Ambria turned back around to Hudson. "I'm sorry. I don't feel the same way."

Hudson looked hurt, and Ambria felt bad. She didn't know any way to let him down any easier without telling him straight up.

"But-"

"I'm sorry." Ambria said, though not paying much attention. She had other things to worry about. Like Bryce. She had to explain to him. She ran back to Bryce, but before she got there she was separated by the crowd and bells chiming eight o' clock.

Everyone wanted to say goodbye to Hudson, but he was already gone. Ambria made eye contact with Bryce as the crowd shuffled them away from one another. It seemed as though every fate wanted them away from each other.

Ambria gave Bryce an apologetic smile, and a single tear streamed down her face. Bryce seemed to notice it but he had turned his back away from Ambria. He was trying to ignore her at all costs, and he didn't want her to see his eyes growing puffy as multiple tears started.

Bryce wished he could stay strong for everyone, but he couldn't handle it.

"Bryce!" Ambria shouted, her voice pleading. He quickly wiped all the tears away and turned towards Ambria slightly. Then before he got all the way around he remembered her and Hudson. He couldn't handle it so he walked towards his cell, letting the crowds pull them apart.
